  1. Do you know about the pin code to unlock the car?
  2. I followed these to start. Still trying to get the locks right and dont even start me on memory seats
  3. I also DL a digital copy of the manual. The comforting thing about the YT vidoes were "press buttons till your heart content, if you really screw them up just go back to default settings" The other change I made was the auto headlight sampling rate. (I set it to min which is every 7-10 seconds) so the HL dont freak out going through underpasses.
  4. Passed on to another member who did a 5sp swap and rebuilt the motor
  5. I actually watched youtube videos on all that it was a big help The manual is not light reading.
  6. Those stats are for a fresh tranny not one set in its ways. Also the tranny is only part of the formula. I dont know what the torque converter is rated for but that has to be part of the discussion
  7. No wind noise, its very quiet. I also get free oil changes and state inspections forever. They did ry to sell me an eye watering extended warranty to cover "all the expensive electronics". I looked it up, Eyesite seems to be very trouble free since 2013?
  8. The Head unit sounds clear. With android Auto it reads my texts. The volume is depressingly low. I like at times to rattle windows, this doesnt rattle anything. Dance and Club music sounds very wimpy. Im still playing with the settings but not getting far. Any suggestions? This is a 2019 Subaru Outback Ltd.
  9. Well Ive been home bund with a neurological disorder and taking care if a bed ridden parent so I saved cash
  10. 2019 subaru outback limited 20,000 miles green followed me home. I'll post pice later. My God the owners manual is thicker then my college thermodynamics and emissions engineering text book

  13. As Click and CLack would say, you get to go to the back of the auto parts store and try all the transmission additives. At this point it can hurt. Once a tranny starts slipping its impending doom. Usually at the most inopportune time

  15. Well the dual is just at the exhaust pipes nothing else changes. So far Bosal good walker bad. I have no interest in a fart can.
  16. Im all for saftey upgrades (how anyone can drive a car with mechanical brakes is beyond me) but its a simple small car. I still have some interior parts made of unobtanium to find. The price difference between exhausts is only 10 bucks! Ill have to search around and see the best quality.
  17. Yes its all original, a real grandma car. Its onlt task was snow bird driving from NJ to Florida and back. I was going to do respectful mods to it but its too nice. So I need an opinion. It needs a muffler/tailpipe (rust as mufflers tend to do). Price is not bad about 110.00 now the EFU and SI had a muffler with dual exhaust. This is single. From what I can tell no difference. DO I keep it original or go for a dual exhaust. Im mixed.
  18. Nooooooooooooooo maybe. If so (its been a while) leaking valve coder gaskets.
  19. Your going to have pick up a phone and call a dealership. I cant shop for it online as there are too many 9s seem to be confusing google and I have a pie to make
  20. I dont see why I just googled and got 100's of hits https://www.subarupartsplus.com/oem-parts/subaru-spark-plug-tube-seal-10966aa030?origin=pla
