  1. I really want a older subaru as a DD, but I'm not sure when airbags came in, and the parents (pay for insurance) insist on airbags. What's the earliest I can get with airbags?
  2. I was wondering why my 87 didn't have one
  3. Because the steering rack is in that lower crossmemeber
  4. I'm planning on pulling the axle from the hub and all that, so we'll see tomorrow
  5. Would a hose clap work? most of my cvs don't even have boots lol
  6. So this happened today http://imgur.com/IGrpZvV,R9jiu8p,NR40WKm My a arm thing fell off, and this happened. Was wondering if I should be just pushing it back together or buying a new axle
  7. "Heres some more shots of STD's just for reference sake. :-p" Crappy joke is crappy
  8. Here's another http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpes_simplex
  9. Finally it makes sense, before this I was so confused about where stuff went. Until then, atv tires! And even then, atv tires. Goddamnit I de-railed my own thread
  10. And did you have ps for the welded front diff?
  11. So you have to make another crossmember for the engine to sit on so you can move the original one down?
  12. I stand corrected. Any pics of the front end of your tcase biuld? Only thing thats confusing me about all this is where to put a front diff for ifs
  13. Also I'm pretty sure the rabbit came with a frame
  14. Oh yeah, I know that's impossible with leafs, but if I can afford to do all that I'll be able to afford someone to to the links
  15. Eek. Not quite into that look. The dream is to have something to compete with this http://i.ytimg.com/vi/PsrSbVXJjmU/maxresdefault.jpg
  16. So maybe a 3 link back with coilovers? And then the normal tcase mod front (ifs)
  17. Definitely a wheeler. Been thinking about just buying a blazer frame and doing it that way but I'm not too sure yet. Was just wondering if this would be an easy way out from a huge subframe like the main sas brat (red one). My fab skills are coming along, but not there yet.
  18. Do you guys think I's be able to slap leafs on my brat? I can't quite figure out how to 4/3 link and leafs would definitely be cheaper. I'd throw in a transfer case and some lift blocks and some 36ish tires. Sound doable?
  19. http://imgur.com/7Slevtg what is this? And how do I fix the broken wire?
  20. I'm probably gonna go to an old blazer, no airbags to hear of.
  21. Either getting the exact same car, just unwrecked, or a 83 k5 civillian militarty edition blazer. 7.9 liter deisel. And we're getting what we paid back, so that's nice at least.
  22. Well at this point it doesn't really matter, I totaled her . Damn airbag replacement alone is like 4K.
