  1. WOW...I'm sorry for your loss. It's unbelievable how f****ed up some people really are. Hope everything ends well for you.
  2. If I remember correctly (in my XT6) when you remove the panel on the passenger side <under the glove box> (for the 6) there was a black box to the left of the blower motor held in by 2 screws. Undo the screws and pull out the box. Its got coils on it and some gray stuff on the coils (stuff is hard, but easy to crack...so be careful). Sorry but that's all I got, maybe someone can help more.
  3. The power steering pump mostly goes due to worn out brushes. It's a simple fix. You can get brushes here in the states from the dealer for around 70.00 or you can do a search on the XT6.net for Anthony's Subaru in Canada...they sell for 12.00. The "basketball size hole" well, my thought is if you know a good welder that could be fixed. Belt is cheap. But when getting one look at it before purchasing and make sure it's got the 6 grooves <I've had mess ups before about this>. Ummm...anything else you can search the XT site. They are very knowledgeable about XT/XT6s. As for the price...I have to laugh at that. That's just way too much unless it shoots gold out the tail pipe. Hope I helped a little. Smiles, Melis
  4. Thanks for the info.! Hopefully I can get to the yard before the Godsmack show <I like to tinker so I'm still ganna search for the brushes> Smiles, Melis
  5. (Also posted on XT6.net) My blower motor just crapped out! Took it apart and one of the little brushes was totally gone, wore down right to the wire. Now the question: Can I replace them myself of do I have to take it somewhere to have it done? If I can do it myself...where do i pur chase the brushes? Need to have my A/C for summer and heat for when it gets nipply out! Any help is greatly appreciated! Smiles, Melis
  6. Sooooo...like what's up here? This thread was created when...oh yeah 12-31-2003...I've sent my money ages ago along with others and really would like to know when these calanders are ganna be in my mail box. Should have had all the money that you needed by now. What's up?
  7. Thanks Ho for this post! It's white...we (Ho..,Kecks and I) got what we wanted. Unfortunately this problem wasn't discovered until after the yard run. I don't want to go buying parts unless I know they are definatey compatible.
  8. Definately going to be at Carlisle to see that! Awesome job Scott!
  9. Not a good idea. That's just asking for trouble (I've done it) The car flies off the ground and I'm not talking a tinsy bit, it makes it look like you've got some major hydraulics in there. You bash your head off of the roof, the dash and stuff literally comes apart (clips pop out left and right). Just not a very wise thing to do. Dangerous for the people around you also. You're worst hangover ever...imagine that 100Xs worse.
  10. :slobber: Paint job, new shoes...can't wait for PICs!

  20. At least you didn't buy an SVX w/ a sh*tty tranny (sorry D...the attention whore made me do it)
  21. Kecks, Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't know much about the system (yet). I've never had a problem with mine, but when the weather got down below 20F my air didn't want to rise and the warning light would flash. As of late so far so good she's been doing what she should. Maybe yours isn't shot (hopefully). Ifn you are in doubt though over @ the xt6 site Tapper is going to be parting his 6 w/ working air suspension. Good luck. Melis
  22. Put me down for 2 and keep the change Thanks
