A 47 ohm resister from sender wire to ground should indicate 45 p pressure

My 85 poped when shifting gears, when rpm dropped. Fix was the anti backfire valve. $135 from online subaru parts. They were helful in getting me the right part.

Have starter tested.

Owners manual is 118 pages, I don't have time to scan all of it. Check wrecking yards for one. I know Central Florida SaLVAGE has a 85 BRAT manual advertised on their web site.

There is an 85 brat with tailgate in Zepherhills,. FL with decent tailgate. Don't know if they would take off and send to you. Central FL Salvage.

My 85 BRAT's rear bumper has had a very rough life. Would like to replace it, but seems used ones I've found are in pretty bad shape too. When did Subaru start putting on chrome rear bumpers and could one be fitted to my 85? On 84GL wagon I found the bumper was chrome and in good shape. It has shock absorbing cylinders that are not on brat and the licence plate mounts on the hatch. Looking for any ideas to restoring somewhat near original.

Any Ideas on how I could repair the vanity panel on back of my BRAT.

This 1985 BRAT originally from ME and been in FL since 93. Body has several dents and dings and is rusted in under panels. mechanically everything works has exhaust leaks and and bad paint.

Trying to locate new plastic clips that hold the rear bumper extensions against the body. They're 20mm with a shoulder the bumper extension slips in too.

Just picked up an 85 BRAT, mechanics good, Interior great, working on rusted areas. Biggest problem is the panels under the bumpers and tailgate. Any suggestions appreciated.
