I think Im ready, ,........then I back out of the garage and it dies, Im not getting fuel to the carb, I had replaced the FI fuel pump., Jeff is there a parts store their were I can pick up a fuel pump for a Car with a carb???

got it running good tonight, it would die after it ran awhile, ended up being the fuel pump was only on when the starter was going, I wired in a different fuel pump as the fuel injected one gave it too much pressure, cant wait to drive it,

the dusty is modified, the tang comes square and its been ground arced and the mounting holes, slots have been inlarged thats it,

Either model the pitch stopper will need some modification, on the ea82 you would need 2 L brackets, for the ea81 it may work in one hole or it may need a small flat bracket , I will research this and on the next set of adapters have something that works for both cars as this is the first gen

I will be offering the adapter so you can modify your own manifold and I will be offering the machine work if you sent me yours, also I will be offering the modified Escort disty. eventually I will offer the whole kit in one : the engine adapter, redrilled flywheel, modified disty with coil and wiring,weber adapter and block off plates the the EJ manifold, so all a guy will need is a old soobie with a dead moter a bare EJ engine and the ",kit" and it will be a all bolt up with no computer hassle ,

I should be able to ship all these orders by end of next week , got hit with a bunch of them

when that happens can you say EA82 axles

cut 6 - 2x2 square tubing 1-1/2 long , drill 3/8 holes in them and mount them on top of the struts, the axles can take it , and yes the wheel camber is effected but you wont notice it driving it SJR

Heres some progress stock with 3" lift heres the cam/head cap and the ford Escort disty heres the parts you will need this is the complete ignition setup Another angle this had been modified the hole it goes into mounted another shot in the car now for the intake, adapter set on stock intake were the coil pack mounts up, mark hole with a pen heres were the hole will be made Milling the hole all milled out with weber carb
