  2. Hello Everyone how about a run for the Pine Barrens? Saturday August 18th Some of us already know the place and where to meet, some of us will be camping out on friday night... How about this... Meet at the Red Lion Diner, Intersection of Rt. 206 and rt.70, at 9am wait there for about 30mnts and then go to Wharton State Forest-Atsion ranger's station Rt. 206. we'll wait there till about 10:15 untill everybody shows up PM for cell phone exchange if you need directions from Turnpike and also just in case you get lost From turnpike its exit 7 rt 206, take rt 206 south to the circle of rt 70 and thats where red lion diner is... again... Sand Trails, Mud, bumps, nothing too crazy, it's light duty. with ocassional stuck in the mud... safe fun Bring a tow strap, small shovel and something to get traction on, just in case.

  13. hehe i got those forester rims with tires that were only used for a day for 240 bucks! the car came with the original LS 14" alloy wheels i still need to take care of that rust on the rear quarter panels

  16. hmm a skid plate is a good thing to have when going to the barrens.. not necessary if you are carefull, an EA81 skid plate should work, thats what i had on my impreza... do u need help doing the TB? i've done many EJs TBs... When is the Dragon Meet?
  17. i couldnt agree more with you... shes getting a skid plate up front this weekend... also i am getting outback struts for when the air suspension goes bad... cant wait to get her muddy! we all have to start talking about pine barrens and soon... i'm itching for it
  18. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=16279&cat=1028&ppuser=9830 170k miles, $700, new tranny with 10k on it, all service records, and new Pneumatic suspension 6 months ago... cheap uh!
  19. i dont think is anything on the tracks i believe is the air deflector that is preventing the sunroof from closing all the way. check the air deflector screws down first and then do the glass :-\
  20. is the sunroof open or closed?, what year and model? if its a legacy there are 4 bolts on each side of the glass covered by a plastic cover, remove that long plastic cover in each side of the glass to expose the bolts, unbolt them and push the glass up... all this assuming the sunroof is at closed position.
  21. Absolutely... the only concern is the clutch, i just got a legacy with 170k auto and i'm expecting another 150k the least without any problems... the early ejs up to 96 are extremely reliable, they are non-interference engines, make sure you do a timing belt, front seal and water pump job on it before putting it on the road, it surely will save you some headaches :-p
  22. well ya know i've always been into the 90+ EJs, I love it! i cant say i know "everything" about them but its enough not to need a mechanic ever! and parts are easy to come by too, remember.... knuckles, steering parts, brakes, cv axles and most engine parts are swapable between legos and imp, i think even control arms are the same in the front, just watch out for lego turbos they have bigger brakes... now the question is... are you liking it? or is it a little scary?
  23. Hey Bucky I've had many rusted and non rusted EJs... take care of those rust spots on the rear quarters and the corners of the rockers, they tend to spread rather quick, specially where you live, winter salty roads are a killer. I just picked up a legacy with some rust on it and i am doing body work on her right now, so gime a call if ya need some tips, PM me for the number cheers Neo
