  1. Bigusa i think 1275 is a good deal for the car, despite the timing belt and the rusty brakes i just bought the same car but in a wagon for 1600 with 160k miles on it remember that the 2.2s are non interference, so who cares if the TB is broken, it will take u 2 hours plus parts to replace that and there u have a nice car in your hands get it!
  2. last time i had the cruise and ABS failing at the same time it was the alternator going on me, but again i'm talking about a 95 legacy... you may have corrosion on your battery terminals?!?
  3. most likely it is from a bigger brake set... the 91 to 94 legacy turbos had those, and i believe the legacies 97 to 99 GT also had those
  4. it could also be the bypass hose... i had a subie that i thought the water ump went, it was dripping just like you said, it turned out to be the bypass hose EDIT: wait.. mine was a turbo, no sure if the 2.5 will have that too
  5. i'll get the dremel out tomorrow and try in one side of the wheel, lets see what happens
  6. i'm gonna try something this coming weekend... crazy glue injection need to find a needle and a siringe
  7. i thought about that, injecting glue, but i'm not sure it will work, i got the same problem on my 95
  8. went to NC and back to NJ on a bad axle, thats 500 plus miles each way, no problems! i had the same symptoms as you are having... i just bought a new axle at advance auto parts for $43.. and oyu can def do the job yourself.. good luck
  9. i got my valve cover gaskets and PCV for under 20 bucks at advance auto they are doing well so far after 1k miles
  10. wow, i'm speechless! you should defientely come down to NJ with Paul for a Pine Barrens run there will be a run either feb or march
  11. nice one, ineed one of those for my 95 legacy
  12. i wouldnt drive the car like that, i suggest you fix the universal first before moving that car anywhere... again from a junk yard it should be 100 bucks for the universal and a new O2 sensor for 40 to 50 bucks. The universal is super easy to change so is the O2 sensor, the only problem is getting that huge heat shield off from the middle of the car ( got rid of mine) good luck
  13. i agree my legacy had only fwd till recently when i had the awd fixed, OMG what a difference!
  14. 385K on a 90 legacy awd 5psd, bought the car with 272K miles, sold it with 385K for 400 bucks, only thing i did to it, was to keep up with the rust which was everywhere and every panel and a clutch
  15. i think 2200 is a little too much, i just got a 95 LS for 1600 with 161k on it i think you can budge the guy down to 1500 even 1400
