hehe i got those forester rims with tires that were only used for a day for 240 bucks! the car came with the original LS 14" alloy wheels i still need to take care of that rust on the rear quarter panels

i've done this quite a few times on subarus with electric antenas... just remove the motor for the electric one and put the new one in, connect the coaxial cable and you are on

hmm a skid plate is a good thing to have when going to the barrens.. not necessary if you are carefull, an EA81 skid plate should work, thats what i had on my impreza... do u need help doing the TB? i've done many EJs TBs... When is the Dragon Meet?

i couldnt agree more with you... shes getting a skid plate up front this weekend... also i am getting outback struts for when the air suspension goes bad... cant wait to get her muddy! we all have to start talking about pine barrens and soon... i'm itching for it :lol:

i dont think is anything on the tracks i believe is the air deflector that is preventing the sunroof from closing all the way. check the air deflector screws down first and then do the glass :-\

is the sunroof open or closed?, what year and model? if its a legacy there are 4 bolts on each side of the glass covered by a plastic cover, remove that long plastic cover in each side of the glass to expose the bolts, unbolt them and push the glass up... all this assuming the sunroof is at closed position.

Absolutely... the only concern is the clutch, i just got a legacy with 170k auto and i'm expecting another 150k the least without any problems... the early ejs up to 96 are extremely reliable, they are non-interference engines, make sure you do a timing belt, front seal and water pump job on it before putting it on the road, it surely will save you some headaches :-p

well ya know i've always been into the 90+ EJs, I love it! i cant say i know "everything" about them but its enough not to need a mechanic ever! and parts are easy to come by too, remember.... knuckles, steering parts, brakes, cv axles and most engine parts are swapable between legos and imp, i think even control arms are the same in the front, just watch out for lego turbos they have bigger brakes... now the question is... are you liking it? or is it a little scary?

Hey Bucky I've had many rusted and non rusted EJs... take care of those rust spots on the rear quarters and the corners of the rockers, they tend to spread rather quick, specially where you live, winter salty roads are a killer. I just picked up a legacy with some rust on it and i am doing body work on her right now, so gime a call if ya need some tips, PM me for the number cheers Neo

I sold the impreza and got a 93 Legacy Wagon LS AWD with 170K as a beater now here are the good things about it: new auto tranny, 10K miles on the new tranny New air suspension replaced in the last 6 months 1 owner, all the service records kept and the price... 700 bucks here are the bad things needs both front CV axles rust spots on rear quarter panels, front drivers fender and hood a/c doesnt work ugh! but for 700 bucks! its a good buy coming mods: Bigger wheels skid plate Outback suspension when the air suspension goes and washing her! :lol: :lol:

how about the 7th of july? thats the second weekend in july and its a saturday... about the dust - just hope your air filter is in good condition hahahahah yeah dude i'm doing alot better, i just took a 900 mile trip down south with the impreza... its easier to stay put now with almost no pain.. yay!@

yeah i'm wondering how much clearance is out there... tonight i measured my lifted impreza and i got a wooping 9" on diff and 12" on the wheel arch! i'm amazed how tall my little one is...
