  1. ok so this morning my car wouldnt shift gears, so i was thinking damn the tranny went, nahhh it was both VSS's gone, went ot the JY and got some sensors... VSS1 had a broken wire and VSS2 i believe was disconnected by vibration i think, so i changed the VSS1 and reconnected VSS2 i think and the car is all good again no codes at all. isnt it weird how 2 sensors can destroy a car? next step is the lift cheers Neo

  7. we'll be hitting the PineBarrens also known as Wharton State Forest we are thinking about march 24th? is that cool with everyone? Sand Trails, Mud, bumps, nothing too crazy, it's light duty. with ocassional stuck in the mud   Bring a tow strap, small shovel and something to get traction on, just in case. Meet at the Red Lion Diner, Intersection of Rt. 206 and rt.70, at 9am wait there for about 30mnts and then go to Wharton State Forest-Atsion ranger's station Rt. 206. we'll wait there till about 10:15 untill everybody shows up PM for cell phone exchange if you need directions from Turnpike and also just in case you get lost From turnpike its exit 7 rt 206, take rt 206 south to the circle of rt 70 and thats where red lion diner is... Paul, Bucky, all the group from CT? PA guys and girls? north Jersey? NY? Lets make this one a nice one, its going to be warmer out

you wont have any problems, thats what i had on my leggo with outback struts now once you are all done with this, why dont you come out to jersey and join us in march at the pine barrens meet? remember if i am running that size on my impreza nonlifted you should be fine
  14. wow i'm amazed that no one answered to this post well a 2002 5spd for 9900! thats a good price you can negotiate for a lower price, but keep in mind that that subaru comes with more standard equipemnt than other cars, ABS, AWD, Its A Subaru, is more comfy than a Beetle, away more reliable, so take those things in consideration, and yes you could retrofit the bun warmers on a 2002, also i'm not sure about HG leaks on 2002s i think they fixed that by then, but search the forum you'll get some info on it. Good luck and post pictures when u get it Neo

oh boy that wasnt good well the outback struts are definetely longer, if you line up the top end the bootms will be differnt, i'm glad you caught it before you stared installing it cheers Neo
  18. yeah paul lots of sand pits, really cool, so that was the last run for the touring wagon? well we have to start thinking about a date in march, hows saturday the 24th sound to you?
  19. cool i have to see whn in march we are gonna go, but we can work something around your time too.. and you can bring your ride down and ride with one of us. its always good to have a co pilot for picture snapping  we'll post something up soon, let us know when and which weekend you can go... cheers Neo
  20. No other symptoms, no torque bind or anything the only thing i've noticed since its that the first gear takes a little long to shift into second, but that may be the cold weather. I've noticed that when the front wheels start to spining the rear wheels kick in right away, so there is a 1 or 2 seconds delay there but definetely not stuck in AWD, i tried in the snow and at the pine barrens last saturday. the power light blinks whenever i start the car, and when i pull the code its code 32 ... VSS1, how long do I have to fix that till it causes any major problems? and does anybody know the part number for that sensor? just in case... but tomorrow i'm gonna get under the car remove the sensor and see if all the wires and connectors are in ok condition... i'm just afraid that i'm gonna cause any more damage driving like that
  21. subeman90 you should come out in march, its alot of fun
  22. ok that sounds it could be it where is the ground thought, ground to the tranny?
