  1. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!!!!! I'm keeping my wagon!! not selling it anymore, i love that thing! Cheers Neo
  2. Hey Guys Ok I have a buyer for my legacy wagon and ia m replacing it with a 93 Impreza AWD Auto EJ18, Are the EJ18s as reliable as the EJ22s? Do they essentially share the same trasnmission components? Is it a different beast than the legacy? or should i look for the same problems when buying it? thanks Neo
  3. I've always had EJ22s with high mileage, no i ever had problems with, i recently back in June sold a 90 legacy 2wd with 225K on the clock and that thiing was as tight as my 95 wagon, i trust my life with those engines, never let me down, and if anything happens its a easy fix too. Good luck...
  4. easy to do http://www.thawa.net/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album95 use regular squirters frm another subaru and a audi or volkswagen pump
  5. NOOOOO DO NOT FLUSH!!!!! it s happened to me many times with used legacys, as soon as i flush the trannies, they would go on the next few weeks, just drain it and replace the the fluid and also add Lucas transmission fix, that works wonderful
  6. i did my 95 legacy with outback struts, and i gained anywhere between 2.5 to 3" lift. its a easy swap. in some cases i'm sitting taller than an 96-99 outback. cheers

  10. Oh Bucky, You missed a good time, i'll place some pics soon, you'll like them, and we are planning to do another run in November before Thanksgiving, so we will do the postings away before that. Keep you all posted for the pics Neo PS: hey guys i still have sand in my head/hair, lol
  11. pretty normal due the plastic material subaru used and use now. My 95 does the same thing, grrrr i hate those "crack, ding, cling, eeeek". Its plastic plastic, and we have to live with it if its not insulated properly.
  12. Any automotive clear coat will do, no i had no bumps untill i sold the car, it loked like it was new lenses. i'm about to do to my legacy wagon now, the drivers side lens is a little yellow. make sure you star with a very coarse sand paper and work your way up to the 1500 sand paper then wash it and dry it very well, after that give very thin coats of clear coat leting it dry between the coats, it will take long but the results are great neo
  13. i did it to my last car and the entire 2 years that i had the car, it looked pretty good
  14. not too long ago there was 2 SVXs at the JY by me, they were crushed after a few weeks.
  15. clean it up and use grades of sand paper from coarse to fine until you get a smooth surface then clean it and clear coat it, it worked for me.
  16. I get Piston Slap on my 2.2 untill is fully warmed up, is it normal?
