  1. Exactly could be not enough oil. AKA bad oil pump, id still lean more towards that banjo bolt not being replaced. Also was there a oil change done HOPEFULLY at the same time as the turbo swap? Maybe a bad oil filter!
  2. Kind of disagree with the cooling system comment. Seems like the cooling system's on these cars are extremely stout. The nipples on the water tank only crack if you stick your hand in there to replace that knock senor and hit the nipple, they don't just crack. The hoses seem very good too, but if you touch them they can create problems.
  3. agreed I have never had a issue with stock hoses sealing 20 years old or brand new. NO ISSUES! Also could be the thermostat gasket.
  4. I think this is exactly what happened. Stupid filter in the banjo bolt.
  5. Do you hear the pump still running after you shut off the car? Check your battery voltage too!
  6. haha what they said ^^ but in my 93 N/A 2.2L car I had a aftermarket thermostat and it worked fine, just didn't warm up as fast. Did you burp the system completely?
  7. I am sure it can make it if you change your fluids often, coast down hills alot etc.
  8. Try hitting the maf sensor comon lol if it works ill laugh like other times I have tried. Although probably the timing belt.....
  9. correct you need to change the oil atleast the oil system will be clean. i find it affective to pour it down the iac.
  10. Another good thing to try which I have heard before is hit the MAF sensor and see if it starts!
  11. ok, doesn't seem like its leaking any other seals that I can replace on the pump? I am thinking ill order the main seal, there is one between the block on the pump, and how about those oil plugs that are all wet with oil must be o rings in there, and the part aiming at a 45? Then RTV seal it back in place I guess?
  12. Hey guys need to drop this motor in ASAP like hopefully this friday! Want to get the few oil leaks sorted out. I will be replacing valve covers seals, rear cam support gaskets, and oil drain hose, TD04 turbo etc. All hoses seem nice and soft! Water pump and belt and idlers appear to be new for a EJ22T out of a 92 legacy wagon. Oil pump leak...
  13. wow your fast to jump to pulling the rear transfer case off! I have been thinking about pulling my case off since 8 months ago to fix my awd XD
  14. Anyone come up with any clock idea's?? I am thinking find a clock from another car like acura integra and mount it somewhere or even below the radio! Just not sure how to run power to it and such.
  15. Maybe they wired up a switch and removed the FWD fuse holder. IT SHOULD be on the passenger strut tower where they all are. Look at any unusual NON oem switches and play with them.
  16. lol we just said there is no speed limiter. And the stock auto tranny should hit 140mph.
