If you put the transmission in gear, it makes mating it up much easier as the shaft cannot turn.

Plastic EA-EJ adapter plate?
I say go for it. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Thursday I did surgery on my keyless entry FOB that quit working when I had it in my pocket as I swam in the Gulf of Mexico. The salt water had shorted the batteries and it looked rusty inside. I washed the circuit board in the melted cooler water. Turns out a trip to Walgreens, an eyeglass repair kit (for the tiny screw driver) and a scotch brite pad and the keyless entry works once again. I did all this in a quick stop in Mobile Alabama.

Mobile 1 high mileage 10W-30. Wanted 10W-40 but I had to settle for what I could get at the time. I think it will be OK with that. I am also using that same Purolator filter. I got an air filter on order from the local auto parts store for tomorrow. No one seems to stock the Loyale air filters anymore and they are special order.

After putting on 6,570 miles in the month of August, I changed the oil and filter (using synthetic). We will see how many miles the trurn trip takes.

Since the passenger wiper blew off my Loyale Sat during an Indiana downpour on SR 25, I stopped at O'Reilly's in Wabash. Replaced them as a pair and threw the driver side one in the trunk as a spare.

Right rear rumbling, shocks?
If I still had them I would give them to you. Sorry.

Finally finished the bezel for my head unit. Didn't want to travel across the country with it flopping around.

Right rear rumbling, shocks?
Got junk in the trunk? Try cleaning it out and see if it makes noise still. Rattling is different than the buh buh buh buh buh buh sound of bad shocks.

Right rear rumbling, shocks?
- Uno - My First
Got a new set of rear shocks. No more rumbling. Uno is 100% for blast off tomorrow morning.- Crank Pulley seal ? W/ ? behind seal.
Both actually. My bad.- Crank Pulley seal ? W/ ? behind seal.
Didn't the new seal come with a spring in it?- Crank Pulley seal ? W/ ? behind seal.
Really? Remove the spring from a brand new seal? I must have done things completely wrong then because I left the spring on my new front main seal when I put it in.- Replace clutch, or get an Automatic Trans.?
An automatic transmission is no cakewalk to install either. Usually you have to bolt up the torque converter to the engine through a small access window and then rotate the crank to reach each of the bolts. AT also typically are plumbed into the radiator so that is another potential point of failure for the cooling system. AT are more complex than the manual transmission from a maintenance point of view.- Right rear rumbling, shocks?
Just read online that you are supposed to change your shocks every 50K miles. Mine are the original ones at over 160K. Update: Got shocks replaced, rumble is gone. I'd say I got my money's worth out of hose shocks. They were the originals installed in 1992!- Right rear rumbling, shocks?
We are talking about the 2wd Sedan Uno. Tires were balanced and rotated last Sat. How should I check the strut mounts? I looked at the strut and tried to see if it had play and couldn't find any. If the mount is bad does it need to be welded? - Uno - My First
