  1. anyone else going to subifest?
  2. must be nice to have an ej swap that works. it's too bad you and dave couldn't get mine to work. i'll get it figured out and then i alone will stand victorious!!!!
  3. do you think that someone put it in or that the factory did it?
  4. Here is an image of the radio in my Outback. I don't see any way of switching the display to show time. I just think that maybe this specific configuration of stereo and model year of car didn’t come with a clock. Which seems very weird to me.
  5. Mine is one single unit. I'll post some photos to night.
  6. Ya, no joke. I went last year and there were hardly any old subarus representing out there.
  7. It has the 6 disk with tape deck and there's no clock display option that I can find on it.
  8. I know this sounds like a really dumb question but where the hell is the clock in my 1998 Outback? I can't tell if it's suppose to be in the gage cluster and it's just burnt out or what. It seems weird to me that subaru wouldn't incorporate something as simple and useful as a clock in there late 90's outbacks.
  9. I took some video of that hatch getting pulled out of the mud at WCSS8. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3243818291962215615&q=subaru+fiat&hl=en
  10. It did look like there was some wear and tear on the lower front end. So I think it was used for something.
  11. maybe that's why our ej22 swap isn't working dave. Did we hook up 10 wires or 4? (the perpetual ej swap going on 4 months now) :-\
  12. You might be right, I didn't even notice that.
  13. I just got back from the Auto Show at the PortlandConvention Center and it was awesome. There was a bad azz Impreza there, it didn't look like it was set up for rally racing. It was so low to the ground that a pebble would have taken out the splitter. Here are a few photos for you to enjoy if you can make it to see it in person. more photos of other cars at: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?ppuser=11629&cat=500
  14. BRAT STRIPS SETS FOR $120.00 I'm now taking orders for BRAT stripes. I'm using Gerber's high performance vinyl. When installed correctly the vinyl manufacturer guarantees a vertical exterior exposure life of 7 years for regular colors and 5 years for metallic colors. I accept paypal or you can pm me about other forms of payment. Available in a wide selection of vinyl colors. (these are single color stripes only)
  15. I'll let everyone know once I've got them all digitized.
  16. Ya, shoot me over the decals and I'll get a set to fit your rig. I'll have your brat stripes out by monday too. (just so you know)
  17. If I had the decals I could easily reproduce anything or change anything too. If enough people are interested in getting a set of these decals I'd be willing to buy them from you or work out some sort of trade. Let me know.
  18. I'll send you some photo's of my layout. I do remember taking an angle grinder to the bell housing, but I didn't have to take of that much.
  19. I relocated mine to the driver's side. I just popped out the spot welds on the jack holder and drilled a couple of holes for the tie downs. The only thing I had to do was extend the power wire so it could make the journey from one end to the other. I attached it to the EA81 wire loom under the radiator. I might just put it in the back later for better balance.
  20. Not true, I put an EA81 from a '84 wagon in my '78 BRAT. The only problems I had were on the transmission mounts, but motor and drive line both went in without a problem. You'll also have to swap the clutch cable as well. Let me know if you have any other questions about the swap.
  21. Man it looks like that motor can really fly (sorry someone had to say it)
  22. You got yourself a deal. (I'll just do a straight swap) I should have the brat stripes sized up by this weekend.
  23. Still looking for Subaru script.
  24. I found an ad in the photos section of this site. I'm able to pull the stripes from that. I sould be getting my hatch back soon and I'll do some final sizing and placement junk then. I should have something together in the next few weeks. Now if I could only find the mirror and the spoiler for the SRX I'd be set.
