I was the test subject for the ea81 4", we built that over a few weekends (more correctly he built/designed and i stood around and watched), happy as can be with it... infact another is in the works for my brat. and i think i need to talk him into a scale lift kit for the rc brat I've taken my sjr equiped car pretty far, and all the breakage was something other than lift associated stuff. I trust his craftsmanship with myself and my passenger (usually the girlfriend) over big long distances scary terrain and all that other stuff...then again i've seen the effort he puts into it, with that you're getting a dang good deal. also, he's selling his rig... might be nicer to just pick up something already put together.

looks like fun, i was fighting my was up canyon creek rd (i think that's the name), my brother went camping up around/on church mountain last night... so today i get to go back up and get him. (send some good mojo), the noaa said something about 9 inches (there was atleast a foot and a half on the ground yesterday)...

if they caught the fool civil suit dude, really... i have a few boxes of smallish mostly engine parts... and a hitachi with a bad choke that really needs a rebuild. and a hatch that I should remove some of the interior (it's my DD/wheeler)... so non essential interior stuff can be gutted if it isn't already ruined if you need stuff that i might have throw a message my way. if i have it shipping is on me.

i bet if i searched alittle better i'd find the answer but here we go, when hitting bumps, or turning hard, or dropping the clutch like i was dragin. i was getting a cool ka-thunk noise from my pass-front area. this was quite awhile ago. recently (this last weekend) did naches (and made it dangit!), and about halfway the noise became a jerk through the stearing wheel, and gas pedal.... then turned into a noise from both sides (stupid rocky maddness). all my lift bolts apear tight (not making an analogy there). so is is struts or whatnot, the cool bearing mounting plate, or a bushing somewhere, or something i'm not thinking of (me not thinking, like that's going to happen)?

laugh at me or whatever bailing wire/fencing wire/mechanics wire (yeah it's called that for an extra buck) my welded diff blew up, but haven't had any issues with halfshafts falling off.

since no one has said it paint the car.... pink! kidding, like it was said earlier, stick with the white (black doesn't show dirt as well)... add some mud and good to go. although since you seem to want it black. +1 vote for silver all around

all the planning and expert driving is no substitute for a back up plan (like a buddy you can call). floor mats are good, however if you don't want to deal with the dirt branches work (not the greatest, but kinda) dig a bunch, if you can clear a path for the tires, enough to move the car just a foot can help out a bunch. if you're by yourself, and there's the chance to get stuck... it's usually best to turn around and go home.

I'll be in temple texas that weekend the girlfriend wanted to take me somewhere for my birthday (the 4th) then her sister (that just had a kid, and got married) wanted her to come see her. now i'm stuck going to texas.

making another run sept 30th, west to east. one night drive halfway through (whether or not if my car makes it this time, if not she'll be towed), and camp in the cold (http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USWA0427) then drive the rest of the way the next morning.
