ej22 mileage swap
I'm running bigger tires on a lifted rig with a roof rack and am still getting around 28-30mpg on the HWY with an EJ22 in the Loyale.

Christmas Valley / Edison OHV weekend run w/ pics
Lets just say no Subie really got stuck, in fact Greg broke a rear axle and was running in front wheel drive low range the rest of the weekend and still did awesome. I know a couple of the other rigs were getting stuck here and there like the new Ford Exploder. The Edison OHV Trail System wasn't too bad. We had to turn around because of deep snow and it getting late. The trail wasn't bad at all. The only thing to look out for is the sharp lava rock. I slashed a tire on it. Good rocky climbs and tight fits around trees, rocks, etc... really fun! I want to run it again and do the whole loop next time with some 6ply tires instead of my 3 ply AT's. I highly recommend it! Great views of Bachelor and surrounding buttes. They are perfect trails for a Subaru because its so tight in spots. Here's a link to the trail map: http://www.deschutescounty4wheelers.com/Maps/Edison%20Vicinity%20Map.pdf

Christmas Valley / Edison OHV weekend run w/ pics
Two weekends ago Greg, Jason, Darrel, and I met up with an off road adventures group out in SE Oregon at Christmas Valley to run the desert and dunes out there. We first all met out at the Edison OHV area just outside of Bend on the way to Mt. Bachelor for a trail run. Then we drove out to Christmas Valley and did a night dune run with the rest of the off road adventures group. The next day was all dunes. Then on Sunday on our way home we did some sight seeing, stopping first at Table Rock, then Crack in the Ground, and a few caves. Then headed home. Great trip and beautiful scenery! More trails and random dirt roads then what we knew what to do with. So much cool area to explore. We could have spent a couple weeks out there and still not seen everything.

SJR testimonials
EJ-EA adapter plate and machined Flywheel are excellent! Parts are on my daily driver and hold up perfectly. The fit and finish are outstanding. You can tell Scott is someone who takes great pride in his work. I would highly recommend SJR products.

88 GL D/R Wagon - Another EJ Swap
I had EJ sized inlets brazed on my EA radiator to keep the factory fit. I also put 2 fans on it, one on a switch and one for the ECU. So far no overheating issues to speak of and I have put alot of long hard mile on the swap. It actually keeps really cool.

Updated) -New Webpage) EA series brake light guards...
What's the turnaround time for the light guards? I'm just up in Tigard, OR. They look great! Also do you have a better picture than on the website of the rear bumper including the tire mount? Is there an option for mounting a Jerry can on the rear bumper? I'm really interested in one of those also. thanks!

Sand Lake run January 17th or 24th???
Despite the constant rain we had a great time and an awesome turn out! We practically had the place to our selves. I think we had 10 different rigs to start with, then attrition began. But despite the mechanicals I saw a lot of big grins! It was cool to see the variety of vehicles that came out. Good times of kicking tires and popping hoods, pulling each other out of the soft stuff, running through the tight tree trails, and cruising over the huge rollers! Thanks everyone for coming out and tearing it up with us! We'll do it again soon! BTW, the completely stock EA71 Brat with tiny tires rocked it! I saw a lot of good picture taking so if you have some please share here.
