  1. the tread part of the dead pedal pops up and flips over to one side. Its held together though with that black sticky stuff and is a PITA to move. after that is flipped over you will have access to the bolts holding it to the car. I have put on just about everything from a GL to my Loyale including the dead pedal, map light, door handles, rear cargo light, etc... All of the factory holes are on the car just under the plastic or headliner. For the map light and rear cargo light make sure to grab the wire with the plug from the donor car, just unplug it from the donor and plug it in the Loyale. The Loyale harness has the spots to plug in the lights so no need to monkey rig some more wiring. The dead pedal and door handles have the mounting points also just like Numchux mentioned. Just make sure to get the hardware off of the donor car so you can just bolt it right up to your Loyale. I can post pics sometime if people need it.
  2. What's the pricing for one of these kits to fit a '92 Loyale?
  3. Give the guys over at Perrin Performance a call. I know they have housed rally cars before for Rockstar Rally team.
  4. Sure thing. I'm around, for sure out there for the March event. What were you driving in for the rally X last Sunday?
  5. Here's a link to a thread I did on my EJ swap. Plenty of pics and good descriptions on what you need and all of the little things that had to be done also. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=103355
  6. Anyone else planning on going? Should be a ton of fun and good weather!
  7. It looks like there are 19 cars signed up now. C'mon people this will be a lot of fun and for a good cause too! TSD Rally on Saturday then RallyX on Sunday, what more do you need?
  8. The canister is for the H VAC control. It runs from a vacuum source off of the engine.

  9. So why not build one of these like the sand rail guys do and put the engine in the rear and make it RWD??
  10. I signed up for the TSD, see you there Ed!
  11. Here's a picture from WCSS 12, you can see the front KYBs and King Springs.
  12. Today with the awesome help of Scoobyclimbs I put on some new KYB GR2 struts and a new set of KING SPRINGS from Primitive Racing. Got another 1" lift out of it and much better handling, will have pics up shortly.
  13. I've got one of Primitive's 3/16" thick skid plates on my lifted Loyale and it has withstood several beatings on central Oregon lava rocks. Very much worth it!! I know their WRX skid plates are just as strong in 3/16". I think that they might have a light bar available too, but it would be good to call and check first. If not I'm sure they could weld up something for you.
  14. I really recommend Primitve Racing for beefy skidplates. They are rally proven and well made giving you confidence that your oil pan will remain intact. They are very reasonably priced too! Here's the link: http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/skidplate/skid_details.htm
  15. I'll post some pics as soon as I get them on and will have the rig at the show for all to check out. Stay tuned...
  16. I'm guessing you have an EA82? I highly recommend King Springs for getting rid of the sag from the original old springs. The Kings are a bit stiffer and will help with loads in the back. Primitive Racing in Tigard, OR sells them see HERE and the King website. They make front and rears for just about any Subaru. I just got a set from Primitive for my lifted '92 Loyale wagon and they are great!
  17. Looking good, you bringing it to the show?
  18. A group of us from the west side are heading out Friday morning for the show. We are going I-84 to HWY97 up. I'll keep an eye out for anyone wanting to caravan.
  19. Great, thanks! I'll send you a PM in a week or two with my order.
