  1. Yeah I'm gonna Flush the cooling system and Give it a Treatment of Blue Devil.. It worked on another turbo engine for 60k and its still going.... so I'm gonna give it a shot
  2. Yet another score for the Xoomer!! Running Kinda, Fully loaded 86 GL-10 Sedan/RX? its got a spoiler and some trim stuff I've not seen before. Push button 4wd and Turbo EA82 the owner just gave it to me, as I helped broker a deal on her new 87 Subaru Wagon. she said the last time she drove it it started making a funny noise and got warm... she shut it off and got it towed home. I started it today.... I think the water pump may have gone and possibly the passenger timing belt may have slipped... cause it seems to have good compression Price Free, Afternoon of checking it out priceless....

  4. My other six has been my baby for the last year... and for the last week she has been having serious issues with fuel deliver... and then this came up so I picked it up... My other six is for sale for the right price if anyone is interested... let me know.... I've put a lot of money into her.. But she may become a parts car I'm gonna figure it out tomorrow when I pull the tank....

  6. So, I responded to an ad for a Non Running XT6 With bad Tbelts and bad tranny. This is What I find... A Running Perfect 226k XT6 With working air suspension and the steering is even working... My only concern is Low oil pressure but not a single tick from the engine.... and a slightly high temp gauge but it sits where my other one sits.... The Tranny issue was Two bald 195/75/14's on the front and two Good 205/75/14's on the rear.. I put my wheels on it and its been fine... I've been screwing around in it since 11 this morning.. Cleaned off the engine a bit.. went to a shop that I go to and Found out that it had been serviced by them... and they had just done a tune up on it like 6 months ago with ngk Wires and plugs... So tommorrow is oil change day, Sexy picture day and Clean the trunk out... try to dry some of the moisture out of the car... Oh did I mention that it was only $300

  8. may Have found the Unicorn... A Xt6 with Working Air suspension for 250 It just needs a motor And I have a good one of those... the unfortunate part is its an Auto Tragic.... The air suspension is still aired since the last time he drove it 3 months ago... the back is sitting a little low but we threw a battery in it and it came right up with key on...
  9. I have had no problem up until this using ARCO regular gas... This was a ************co 711 gas Station... in Vancouver washington...
  10. Good news.. I think its just a case of extremely bad gas because I'm almost to e now after putting in $20 in premium and a can of heet. because now its idleing ok, and its not as bad as it was... so Tomorrow I'm gonna work on my legacy for a few hours and then I'm dropping the tank... And I'm gonna clean it out... and check the pump... What I'm thinking is the filter/screen that is in the tank will suck up all the sediment/crap after a little while of driving and then when I shut it off it and the sediment/crap will drop down and allow me to drive ok when it starts.
  11. Well it lasted it a exactly a year if it was the crap in the tank... I'm gonna get a fuel pump if I have one at work today to put in tommorrow.. and I'll drop the tank... but the thing I don't understand is that it doesn't do it until it warms up.... But the other thing is that when i did the fuel filter I was expecting to get fuel spray.. I didn't just kinda drip drip pour and the gas looked clean... no color tints to it at all...... Any More Ideas?
  12. its doing the same thing it did when i bought it. crap in the tank ( I think ) I did a filter and the gas looked clear but it didn't seem pressurized.and the pressure shouldn't back down should it? cause it had been off since I got to work.... I have already replaced the CTS and the Purge Control Solonoid (thats the code 35) but it still pulls it. is it possible the pump is going out and not giving me enough psi
  13. I don't even know how to explain how I feel right now. My xt6 is doing things I and I can't figure it out.... I'm pulling my hair out... its cutting out while driving i.e. rpms are climbing but like there is no power then bam it hits me the back of my seat rest because I had to floor it. to get it up to speed... and it only does it once its warmed up. the only codes I pull are 35. I don't know... Anyone want an xt6? ive got $2500 in this in reciepts....
  14. Pulstar plugs Are great... my co worker got them for his honda.. noticed a huge difference.
  15. New (junkyard) Sunroof installed. Cleared the drain lines. and put some anaerobic sealant on the drain lines, as well as the seal around the roof. it works well. I don't know about the leaking cause the interior is in minor state of disrepair. It goes up, It opens, with a little coaxing. (the seal seams to be jamming a little bit.) but once past that it opens and closes fine. I also Pulled the Dash out. I'm going to replace all the bulbs, as well as all the heater bulbs. and I'm getting a new plastic cover for the gauge cluster. I also got the drivers window to roll down. the regulator seems to have some broken teeth. I'm gonna get the radiator next as I'm gonna take my serious time rebuilding the engine. its getting a coat of Blue paint on the block and the intake. And the Exhaust is getting a thermal wrap. because I want to make sure that I keep as much heat away from this engine as I can. I also had a complete Cat back STI exhaust donated to me from a friend (a friend with a 360) I am going to try to make something work between the two. I have not had time to look to see if it will match or if it will even work but I thought I would give it a shot, of course if nothing else works I can cut the exhaust off and just use the muffler cause its shiny and sounds good.

  17. I have the Turbo Wheels on my legacy and they are not in the cleanest shape with the original finish, so I'm wondering If I should pull out my dremel and sand them, and paint them or if there is an easier way to do it? Zach

Ok, I have been going over this recently on Legacy central, And I'm debating on whether or not to pull my shifter Cut it and make it a short shifter, or just pull it out and replace the bushings. I see that replacing the bushings is not that hard specially when you have plan on having it apart. but what I'm trying to figure out is the parts needed. I want to do it in one day. What parts do I have to order? and how many of each? to completely do all of the bushings on the shifter.
  19. This is getting a Good working non leaking sunroof... I don't care what I have to do... Little ocd...
  20. Bought another one, J/Y from one that had a dry Headliner and no sign of leakage. Greased it up, Moved the motor manual a couple times to get the grease on there really good. I'm hoping I'll be able to get this one in there.

Camera Phone. 91 SS 5spd I bought it off of a local shop. they didn't have a title, told me radiator was bad and Head gaskets were failing. they had done a carbon test. so i gave them $100 dollars and threw a battery in it.. and drove it home. I wrote a threatening letter to the previous owner telling him that this vehicle was abandoned on my property and I either wanted storage and it would be towed as an abandoned vehicle so the guy got me a release of interest.. and I started buying parts. I bought the Subaru overhaul gasket, Water pump, timing belt, drive belts, Plugs, oil, filter, All I have to do now is clear out the interior of its dampness, Replace the sunroof (cause it doesn't work.) Find a new headliner cause mine looks like poo. get a radiator and get the heads machined. (oh and shifter bushings.) my plans currently are to get it DD able With a short shifter, and someone is giving me there old First Gen STi Exhaust system so I think I'm gonna play with modifying that.... probably a BOV and a IC, and a turbo timer some were down the line.
