Rob I pm'ed you about the eg33 and the er27-- I may have a SVX Lined up Clean with less than a 100k with a blown tranny-- they want $250 for it-- they priced the tranny from the stealership is why its so cheap- if it comes down the pipe-- I may not need anything I will know tommorrow---

its an option but where am I going to find Engine/harness/computer for less than a grand?

Well, I'm debating because I know that my Block Has to be slightly warped-- I replaced the head gaskets-- and had the heads machined and fluxed- and I'm still overheating- I'm debating weather or not I want to pull this motor back out and completly rebuild it get the case machined heads remachined and rebuilding the entire thing! or if I want to just do EG33 if I can find one-- every local JDM shop says that they are out of the ER27 my friend just brought one home-- but apparently he got the last one--

Ok, I have my XT6 and I need a motor- I'm having difficulty finding one locally- and was wondering if I wanted to do something for ease of parts and for better reliability What Kind of upgrade can I do-- I also want to keep a certain level of performance Atlease equal to my XT6 EJ22? is that the best option and will that bolt up? Well here is the story-- I own an 81 Ea81 wagon- It was beat up but then I let a friend who needed a car use it-- he is now locked up and gonna be gone for a while-- I was gonna go and repo the wagon-- which was kinda traded for him working on my Rodeo "work that never happened" but he has thrashed it- THE BAD - It needs new interior They have a dog that chewed it up and peed on things- - Potentialy needs a motor he told me it had a loud tick/nock in it- - Ugly - needs a radiator -its a DL The good- -its paid for- -good gas mileage- -no body pays attention to it- - fun to drive- because I have sourced another ea81 wagon thats a gl with a good body but frozen motor-- I'm thinking about getting that-Like I said I just need some advice- My fleet is continusly changing-- 88 Chevy Cheyenne 88 XT6 FTMFW 94 Isuzu Rodeo 88 Dodge Shadow Girlfriends car-

Advance-- Napa--- The Same thing when it comes to gaskets-- There are TWO MAJOR Brands of gaskets-- FELPRO and ROL both of them owned by FEderal Mogul-- And the other gaskets are usually rebranded---

yeah according to the dealership I work with I now own the last 10 bottles of the powersteering fluid!! I will be selling it off at auction--

I'm probably gonna get flamed but--- my xt6 waterpump at napa was only 19.00 for there lifetime warranty-- I love working for a dealership as big as mine- (3rd largest honda dealer in the country) our shop has 52 lifts- I can pretty much walk into any Other Dealership and get 30% below list- and napa and carquest charge me like 10% over cost- I used to work at schucks- And am currently still "employed by schucks" (on a leave of absence apparently) so i get the employee 20% but I do agree that schucks employees are not the smartest and Autozone-- its pretty bad when a shucks employee knows the Z-net system better than the Employee that works there. Autozone tends to reward Customer service Skills over knowledge- they pay people better that don't know nothing about cars but have good customer Service skills- Believe me I learned the hard way-

Hey all, I just got done rebuilding my ER27, and I'm having a hell of a time getting the distributor in if I set it so that the car starts good- it pings when warm-- but when I adjust it so that its 20 btdc when warm and check mode on it doesn't want to start-- is there any tips or tricks to installing this distributor- Thanks

Well, I have spent all this week trying to get ahold of a manager at Carters.. I have not been able to. so I called SOA, And they called the parts department, and they called me back saying the Dealership Refused to sell me the radiator.. because I Yelled and cussed at the counter person. I did not do either. SOA told me to call Scot the manager at parts department. He told me that he wouldn't sell it to me even if I gave him $1000, I tried to explain the situation but he told me not to even bother so I went to walkers and they ordered it and offered me a better deal on the original price of the radiator! They also Basically said that they don't want my business, no matter what it was! Anyhow... Carter Has lost my business, and if anyone has a NASIOC account if they can post a link to this post, that would be much apprieciated. Scott even told me that he was also mad that I posted this on the boards (because I told SOA about it) I think that I'm going to write a letter to the owner of the dealership, and to SOA about the situation-- anyone else want to help me with this situation??

I had My entire complex pretty much smoked out.... I made a little device that allows me to drive the car While Seafoaming it... I just do a few laps around the Complex and I'm done.

I have marked the Flywheel per Bucky92's advice-- No Movement, New Belt and Pulley- New alternator connector Clipped about 5 inches back. My battery cables look ok... Not great or anything but ok... I've used Cleaner on them-- The Clip I replaced the still looked good for the alternator tho..

Nothing Special... You probably couldn't buy All 3 of those and Mix them up for $4.99 Also There is a huge benefit to using (not only do you get to smoke out your neighbors) but you get better performance, Gas Mileage, and smoother Acceleration... Proven!

I was wondering if it was normal for the Voltage Guage to drop in my XT6 at idle, sitting without the engine ignition on it says I have 10 volts. I put the multimeter on it and it says I have 12.5, I start the car it sits just above the 12, so I'm assuming that it means 14- I put the multimeter on it and it says 14 or so.. But as soon as I turn and the heat at Idle it drops to 12-- and you see the lights flicker.... or no accessories and the turn signal makes the lights flicker.. same with the tail lights... I'm wondering if its a ground I replaced the engine to body ground... or when I dry steer at idle it does it to...? I want to replace the cables tommorrow and try and find a starter... (making a little noise.) I'm trying to replace everything... I've already done the alternator.!

I ran a turbo For A month with no Coolant to see If I could get it to blow. at the end of the month I put coolant in it and sold it for $1000, The guy is still driving it.. (I only had a 2 mile commute...)

There is a lady behind the counter there that I love she has helped me out quite a bit. She helped me find a lot of older subaru parts that no one else would. (I only knew about walkers at the time.)
