oh cool thanks, i'll have to go try it out.

Mine was removed sometime in the cars life from the other owner(s). I don't understand how you could override that button? Cause mine will shift out of park with out a key. How could someone have rigged it to work that way, GD?

I don't see anything tampered with under that cover, hmmmm?

If its a 4 speed auto, it could be the button to turn off OverDrive.

i WISH it was a 4spd! :)

overdrive button on a 4spd?

i thought you just jabbed at the gas pedal quicky and got the "power" light to come on

Isn't that the ejector seat button?

I have a little switch on my dash that used to be a driving light switch when that panel was on someone else's car! My kid asked what it did tonight on the way home and I told him it was the ejector seat switch. "Whats that mean dad?" "It means I flip that switch and you go flying out the opening in the roof, wanna try it?" He got the joke after I flipped the switch but he was grabbing the arm rests on his car seat! Then he couldn't keep his hand off the switch ejecting me!
