Finally got tonneau cover done!

I finally got around to getting my tonneau cover finished. I have 2 more grommets to install as well as one or two universal bows. These were taken with the camera on my Blackberry so they're kinda' grainy. I'll post better pics when I get it outside in the sun. What do you guys think?

Seriously, nice job with the tonnearu cover.

I have one for my '84, but it seems to have shrunk over the years and I haven't been able to stretch it enough to fit properly. Any thoughts on softening it up enough to make it fit?

What's it made of? One ply, 2 plies?

You mean they spell it that way in Australia?!

Whats the United States way of spelling it then?

We (aus) pronounce it Ton-no Cover

You (us) pronounce is Tun-no Cover?

As far as I can see its the same spelling, just different pronunciation:

Brining this back from the dead because:

1) I love it

and

2) I am in need of one for my '86 BRAT. I'm not sure I have the resources (time, space, money) to make one myself as you seem to have done.

Are you interested in doing a commission?

Since this thread is back from the dead- I thought I might ask here- I work for a cover manufacturer, so I could probably have a really pro looking soft tonneau cover made for the 2nd gen ones.  I'm not sure what to do for attachements or railing, so if anyone has any idea, let me know.  I'd love to make it as simple as possible- as close to bolt on as can be.  I have access to weathermax fabric, which is marine rated and stands up in use as sail covers, so I think it would last quite well as a tonneau cover.  If there is interest on the forum, I can measure my car and make a prototype..

Definitely put me down. When I didn't originally get an answer here, I made an inquirey on a new thread. Someone responded with some great info on how to fasten it at the top of the cabin. I'm not sure about other attachment railings though.

Here's the post: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/149369-soft-tonneau-cover-for-second-gen-brat/

I added of a picture of what I'd like one to look like.
