About the "Wooden" Steering Wheel, It was Optional in the Gen II Leone (a.k.a: EA81) ...

 

 

 

 

...and in the Gen III Leone (a.k.a: EA82) too:

 

 

 

Note the "Manual Choke" Control on the Dashboard: it was a 1.6L (EA71) Gen III Leone DL (Manual Windows)

 

But it had the Optional Wooden Steering Wheel.

I Found some Old Photos of Gen III Leones with alternative Steering Wheels:

 

The Same Design as the Wooden one, was offered in Leather Black Finish...

Sometimes people Changed the Stock Steering Wheel on those Subarus...

This one is located in Russia, but is a JDM Subaru Leone (Gen III) Luxury Edition, Known here as the GL-10.

 

 

 

Those Subarus came with Rear Wiper...

All JDM sedans have rear wipers. From GL all the way up to the current cars.
