January 22, 201214 yr Very cool. Man your Soob was just loaded! I mean some of it is old tech now. But in 1985.
January 22, 201214 yr It is interesting to see what the original MSRP's for the older subarus are: http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1986/Subaru
January 23, 201214 yr For even back then thats a pretty good price for the luxury group. In the Justy they zapped the owner for over 200 bucks for a stereo radio.
January 23, 201214 yr Im interested in knowing what the high altitude kit is all about. Ben it deals with the carb rejetting and a couple air pressure solenoids that sense atmospheric pressure, ie the elevation so the car leans out. The higher you go, the less air for combustion, and so the car needs to dump less gas down the engine to run smooth and efficient. common, thing, sort of like a CA car junked with emissions garbage.
January 30, 201214 yr Yes, that is cool to see from '85... come to think of it, that info may still be in my '81 glove box too.. I'll check and post if so Yep, I found mine too... 1981 Subaru GL Wagon - Dealer Window Sticker higher res album pics here: cheers Edited January 30, 201214 yr by gadberry

Seller says there are no jets. I suspect it opens the carb air bleeds wider and restricts the egr vacuum.
January 31, 201214 yr Author Wow! NIB, even. I might consider buying it if I lived in the mountains...
