in the process of replacing the head gaskets on my loyale..

is there anything i can do (while its out) to increase HP ?

also i plan on chagning the clutch to an XT6 clutch, from what i understand i need the xt6 flywheel and then the xt6 clutch will fit ?

Yes, while it's out throw it away and put an EJ in its spot, voila, more hp!

Just kidding, but changing to an XT6 clutch won't make a difference without the XT6 flywheel, because the flywheel is where you are going to get better throttle response as it is lighter. Obviously change any leaking gasket or seal while you've got the engine out, you already knew that though I'm sure!

i wish i had everything to throw in an ej22 ! i so would love it..

i know the xt6 is stiffer, as i drive one way stiffer than loyale..

i hope the xt6 flywheel (being lighter) would help me climb hills... 90hp sucks climbing hills

yeah i knew about changing gaskets

i got this kit.

Nice! Good gasket set for sure. The only other thing I've done is hollow out the cat and I've even built my own Y pipe header before and had just a cherry bomb after the Y then straight out the back and that seemed to help alot, I don't know if you have to pass smog where you live though.

put a 2.2 in it. obdII will give ya 135 hp. put stainless header and if you don't have smog, take out the cat.

i'd love to install an ej22 but costs so much to make it all work i dont have that kind of money yet, i plan on ej swapping but it will take a long time..

i already have a stainless uel header that i have atleast...lol

Great Job you've done to your Subaru, engine bay looks Clean!

... clutch is much stiffer (makes me very happy :D )

I'm glad that you live far away from the horrid Traffic Jams and Steep hills we have in my Country,

Otherwise your Knee would not be that happy...

Kind Regards.

...

Appreciated SubaruJawn,

Very respectfully let me tell you this, despite that I know that you will not like my advise: Try to avoid driving on Rainy nights with those Blueish lights, the deep blue accent of the light is somehow "Swallowed" by humidity, making to drive on wet pavement with such "illumination" to be pretty Dangerous. Such kind of bulbs are used more for the Looks they give to the car, but they really provides much worser illumination.

Kind Regards.
