Featured Replies

Hello. A friend has 2 brand new EA82T Gen3 heads. so only the heads, no valves or something.

i want to buy these from him. what are these worth? whats the highest price i should pay for these?

my engine is dead and i want to rescue the engine and build it "new"

sorry for my english

If you don't want them, please pass his details on to me via PM.

thanks.

Hard to say.  What's the price of scrap in Germany?

In germany ONE gen3 head costs 471,39 Euros at a subaru dealer. That are about 580 USD for one head.

i bought them from a friend but dont them anymore cause i got a "new" complete engine.

so if anyone want to buy these heads... they are brandnew and still in boxes. left and right.

part numbers are 11063AA453 (left) and 11039AA711 (right)

The coolant bottle was empty.  Meaning the heads are possibly cracked.  Other than that, it looks like the exception rather than the rule.

@Turbone:

ok will do that. but the heads are brand new, never used. so why should there are cracks on the valve surfaces?

  • Author

@Turbone:

like i said, they are both brand new, never used before

Then why does one have black and red paint and the other has coolant "weep" marks.

New reman maybe?  From what I can tell also, subaru doesn't sell bare cylinder heads.  There is only a part # for "head assembly" including valves.

Maybe europe is different?  But I sure would not pay $1000 bucks for em.......maybe $300 for both.  Tops.

Bump. I've bought several EA bare heads for around fifty dollars each, NOS. No reason to even fool with used ones. These still available?
