Clutch Carnaige from MIdwest II

Featured Replies

I just pulled the clutch out of my Hatch, VERY NASTY!!!! Here's a shot of the Clutch and PP............. Six month old LUK, But after what I put this one through, I just ordered another one :) Later, timDisk_PP.jpg

I'll bet the throwout bearing is pretty beat up too. . .

I know it wasn't immediately available, but if you remove the timing cover shoot a hose into the hole after a mud bath for a while it will do wonders. I learned it at the WCSS3, I hosed it our everytime I played in the mudhole, and my clutch/throwout bearing did just fine. I think at least 4 people lost them soon after.

You may want to anyways Shawn.

Yup, I just ordered the whole kit again. Now I know the limits of the clutch, you know what they say about expensive lessons:rolleyes: . 5spd. Tim

finally got mine out tonight. will try to get a pic Saturday. flywheel has some nice heat cracks. about a quarter cup of clutch dust :) inside. I have big ruts in the clutch disc fromthe flywheel side. the pressure plate side was better, but still looked similar to your pic, but the pp was still shiny....
