Another few examples of the great folks on this board

I needed an ER27 pulley right away before some inbound snow hits and Archamitis snagged one at the yard and shipped it right out. Public thanks to him and the XT6 adapter and cone filter are on the way!

Another public shout out to Erik Zap, sent me an old school BRAT stomper painted to match the real one. Thanks Zap!

Great guys like this are the reason people come stay at this board.

Arch isnt one to brag but I gotta let you guys know it was below zero (and way below with wind chil factor) yesterday when he went out to get that pulley from the junkyard.

Glad his effort is appricated and hope you get your rig up and going soon !_!

I'm throwing out a big YOU ROCK to Vanislru, who shipped me his old crossover/up pipe and non-cat down pipe for my turbowagon. After much swearing, jacking, and a little more hammering than I liked I got it on yesterday.

Happy Ho-Ho

I'm always amazed at how cool everyone on this forum seems to be.

I actually bought my Hatch sight unseen from boobaru, who wasn't even there when I picked up the car. He trusted me to leave the cash in a predetermined spot for him. My wife thought we were both nuts.

Thanks to everyone for the helping hands you give. :drunk:

hehe, i love junkyards. i went out there with 20 feet of rope to shove in the spark plug hole. but it was so cold, the engine didnt move. pully came right off.

i always deal with peepl on here on their word, and a cyber handshake. peepl rarely get burned by peepl from this board.

Mick, Shawn, Zap, Richie, Ed (X7), Larry dew, Paul, Snowman, aTorxxx, and god only knows who else has come through for me. Hats off to all of them for their generosity and kinship.

Yes indeed, I am continually amazed with the people I've met and/or dealt with so far. I often forget to mention how grateful I am, but here's what comes to mind. My trip to WCSS6 would not have been possible without the help of Hondasucks, Caboobaroo, Jon of Scio, Bajavwnsoobnut, and others. Big thanks to Edrach for all your help there as well (the LSD is almost ready to go in!). And of course thanks to Northguy and Torxxx for offering your help when Roxanne was a bit ill last year (lucky I didn't need it, but thanks anyway). You can count on my assistance any time as we all know the hazards of travelling in the subarctic during the winter. I've also made some great online deals with Edrach, Austin and others.

Dayum Arch you Rock! :headbang: No really, that was a really cool thing for you to do in such extreme conditions. You are a hardcore scooby owner. I'd like to thank you and I ain't even getting anything. Lol! That was nice of you though. *Aight....enough of the mushiness*

As they say...."what goes around, comes around." I can honestly saw I've never had a problem with anyone on the USMB in my dealings. It's great to deal with people whose word is their bond.

oh crap that reminds me, you need that spare egr thingy...

Everyone here has been so free with great advice and moral support... from day it got on the truck, the Brat has been a major headache but it's all coming together with the help of everyone on the board... McBrat for pointing the way here... Todd got me motivated enough to tackle it, Skip diagnosed the many problems and Edrach supplied the moral support. And many of you supplied the parts... Subafreak, Paul, Russ, Todd, Tommy, Kurt, Jason... most of all my Tim... he's stuck with me even though he smashes knuckles, road rashes his back crawling under the "no room under this lemon yellow #@%&*". Now that it's up and running, he's pretty proud I think <wink> Thank you all!
