I got a glasspack!!!

And its not much of a hanger.... since nothing is hanging from it. I'd say all its doing is stopping any side-to-side movement.

Bet it sounds better than it looks :)

Yeah i agree i bet it does sound better that its hung up there. Plummers strap. metal strip abput half to quarter inch wide with holes drilled down te center. You can find it at any hardware store and make a good sturdy hanger with the stuff.

That hanger was just temporary. But it sounds awesome. Makes it sound more burly. And it frees up a couple horses.

I cut the hanger bracket off my old muffler and welded it on the new muffler.

Fits like a glove :brow:

You need a muffler to pass inspection in VA. So when my friends come to me looking for an exhaust fix, they get a glasspack tacked onto the end of their exhaust system.

Buick 3.8's sound good through a Thrush glasspack.

I'm not quite shure if my exhause is now legal or not, but I don't think cops in Montana worry about that kinda stuff.

Kinda reminds me of a dog when its....ah nevermind. :o

Thats.......Gross.

Thats.......Gross.

I never took into consideration your name is 'A Dog'. The irony!

I have a glass pack on mine as well. I hacked the stock hangers off the OE one and made a bracket to bolt it on. but then again I re did the whole system....three times. I gotta quit changing stuff.

It's nice to be in the exhaust buisness aparenly. We do exhaust hangers all day long for 10$ and they hold your system solid.

yo the cherry bomb is pimpin'! i had one on my ride, it broadened the midrage and opened the top end. much torquier than no muffler

i had mine mounted at the flange before the y pipe, and fat pipe after that. all of the flow and sound was after the muffler, so that didnt effect scavenging, backpressure

myoss feece put his after the flange and made 2 1/2" exhaust after it, up and over the axle, out the tailpipe original location, all with auto zone premade lengths and bends(not the flexo-pipe:) ) and this ussed the stock mounting locations.

any chance you get have things WELDED, cause it gets old having to find your exhaust(pieces)after some good baja'n

Yes it is. And yes I can feel a little difference it acceleration and torque. I wish I had a welder.. I think I'm gonna get one in like a year or two and have it mounted under the hood.

I work at a exhuast shop and the number one reason people have leaks, is because of those weak clamps. So I will always pull those things off and put a nice sexy bead on there. (Who wants to pay 600$ for a duel job and see a bunch of clamps hanging down)
