I converted

1. my mother, 04 Forester, didnt make any decision to buy anything else yet.

 

2. a friend at work, 99 Impreza 2.5 RS, she wanted either a Acura or a VW.

 

3. my father, 05 Baja, he had a saturn I got him to sell it and buy a suby.

 

4. my sister, 84 gl-10, she didnt have a car just found the right deal.

got a friend from work to buy his 86 gl wagon(5spd,light blue,4wd)- he wanted this escort

 

got my sis to also buy a 86 gl wagon(auto,4wd,brown),which she gave to me after i crashed mine,which was also brown but 5spd.-she was just in need of a car to transport my nephew.(her 79 olds died)

 

would of gotten my mother,but she stopped driving several yrs back.

After I had been driving mine for about 15 years, my mother and sister both bought Subies a, wagon and sedan, I don't know what they sold to get them. But I was told it was because my car just kept going, and going...(still going at 22yrs).

 

My neighbor bought a 01 Outback for his wife after I bought my Forester. He sold a Suburban for the Outback. Yes, I talked him into it...

 

Same neighbor got a Forester for his mother in-law to keep her safe in the winter. He did this on his own.

 

A guy at work sold his F-250 for an outback sedan, and yes I'm responsible...

 

All of the above still have their Subies!

While we were dating, I got my future wife to buy a 91 loyal to replace a Honda that had been given to her and had one heck of a bug in it.

 

So now we're married and have 2 soobs, and someday (soon) hope to get more

My GF is driving a '01 escort that makes some of the most horrific sounds I've ever heard come out of an engine bay! We're looking for a subie.

 

I'm up to 3 friends at school, though only one actually has one yet, a '95 AT AWD impreza L, he sold (or maybe just stopped driving, he may still have it) a pathfinder for it. Another guy is selling his '99.5 VW GTi VR6 and looking for a 2.5RS, and another is selling his '97 VW Jetta GLX VR6 and looking for a WRX! I've converted VDub guys!

I not trying to convert anyone. These things are way to rare to be having competion around here to have to fight for parts, cheapies etc. I did get Vicky on to them, but she really didn't have much of an option . Later, Tim

agreed, notice all of mine are impreza's except the one I'll probably end up doing most/all of the work on in the near future at least.

I got a friend to buy a 2002 2.5RS and who is sorta hooked to subes into getting an EA82 wagon. And played a role in Wagonpowaa's brat. Hooked Lepetitprince onto WRXs and brats in a BAD way!!! My old man into a WRX and my little bro into a Gen 1 brat some day...

A mother and daughter both bought 85 GL wagons. One I had bought for $10 and the other the Mom bought for $200.

I convinced Deathhatch to get his ever-evolving 84 hatch, my other friend (redrum3433 on here) to get his 84 GL Wagon, my leprechaunish friend to purchase a 86 GL Wagon. As well as sold my old cancer wagon to another friend, and yet another just purchased a 81 GL 1.8 D/r Brat.

 

Total count is 5, but i have influenced about 2 more here at school to obtain/wheel EA82 D/R wagons.

I was a longtime Chevy man until 2003 and sold my S-10pu and got an '03 outback wagon .I will never look back again.........Although I still love mouse/rat motors!

 

My subie takes me where I wanna go...!

 

Now I'm hell bent on modding my outback for offroad!
