Any of you photo shop/paint pros wanna help me come up with one?

that looks neat. i'd eliminate the roman numeral VII though as i think it's repetetive. and is it West Coast Subaru Show or Subaru Summit? I think Summit sounds cooler...

Its been known as Subaru Show as long as I can remember.

I kinda like the roman numerals. Maybe we can take a vote :)

I need to add something Subaru to it though, its just letters right now.

xlnt - lose the "VII" and add the show location and date.

Sweet!

I was just gonna post to Brian that we wanted the shape of Washington State incorporated. But, I think the general shape would be better than absolute detail. As in lose the islands and make the outline more simple. Reason being for t-shirt printing and glass etching.

Brian, your second one is realy cool. Maybe lose the VII and add "2005."

Your logo in the middle of the state would be awesome.

Add the Venue below it too. "Mason Co. Fairgrounds, Shelton, WA."

If you wanna talk over the phone, send me a # via pm and I'll call ya on my dime. I.M. Shmiem. lol

Thanks man.

I was thinkin of maybe having the subaru logo within the boundary of the states as well? Behind the lettering for the show? i'm no good with photoshop or any of those programs, so I'm not much help there, but its just a suggestion.

Nice Spanky, but it should be WCSS 7, the 2005 should be in the date below Shelton. And why have just the old Subrau emblem, all Subarus are welcome.

Now that i know what we're lookin for, i will do some work on my logo a bit.

As far as T-Shirts, will this be going on mugs by chance? I could use a #7 to add to my #6.

Do we want black & white, or can i experiment with colors as well?

I avoid talking on my phone at all costs. Mostly because its a cellphone, but I preffer to type over talk any day (can go back and correct stupid things I say... 99% of which no one ever see's :) )

Woo hoo.. I can't wait to go to the Washington, Central Subaru Show.....

Hey if you wanna organize and not complain, I'll show up at the Show you put together.

I cant wait either...

724 miles for me, each way... but it will be worth the drive.

-Brian

Wow, that's about 2/3 of the miles we logged setting up the Oregon show. Glad that a some of you are willing to drive a bit to hang out at our little shinding.

Wouldnt miss it for the world. Expecially when the boss okay's the days off :)

So... what about these logos? Anything you guys think need to be adjusted?

I like the font you used for WCSS7 better than my stencil font, but the smaller text below it is hard to read clearly. The colored topography background would look real good on ads and whatnot.

There's my 2 cents. ;)

Yeah, I like the color version with the star at Shelton.

I agree that the smaller lettering could be less uh.."fancy", easier to read.

I also agree that a few hundred miles is a short distance to drive to attend a great "shindig" as this. Gotta get out and see the world!

My 2 bucks

I know my say doesn't really make much of a difference but I think maybe the WCSS7 part should be just a little smaller so it fits better inside the the Washington outline. It all looked really good though and I also agree about the star. Maybe if it's not getting into too much detail you could still add the Subaru symbol somewhere, not too big or anything. I just think it would add a nice extra Subaru spin. The colored ones you did look awesome by the way but would probably be way too much for shirts and mugs, etc. For fliers and such it would be perfect. Anyway, that's my cent and a half. I really hope I will be able to make it to the show this year, I was very sad that I couldn't attend WCSS6.

Is there some way to loss the text "WASHINGTON"? I think it is obvious what state is it and seems to clutter up the image. If you can do that, maybe remove the text over the mountains also. Since you don't have the original art work that may be pretty hard to do.
