I feel like that at school! I drive around my subaru, covered in mud, and there's these kids with lifted trucks, suv's and stupid escilades, trying to be cool. They need some of that spray on mud, HAHA

No they need some real mud!!

It looks a little like sprayed on mud...

....sprayed on by someones tires....

How do you get mud that far forward on the car anyway.

my dear sweet its elementery or however you spell it :)

awd rooster tails in slippery gooey mud

it goes all over the place

especially if your sitting still in one spot waiting to grab some kind of traction

then all that stuff you just kicked up into the air has to land somewhere

or just going through deep enough stuff to send it up over the hood....though I doubt an STi would do a very good job in stuff that deep...

I've gotten alot of mud on my roof.. the trick was to go very fast into deep mud, but half way in, slam it into reverse, and cut the wheel to full lock (either direction), while flooring it. This accomplished many things...

The first, getting mud on the top of your car

The Second, Spraying everyone in the area with nice wet, sloppy mud.

and it also gets a huge freaking rock stuck in between your motor and steering yoke.. then you have to rip it all apart.. grrr :banghead:

oh yeah, and it looks like they forgot to get mud on the back wing of the STi :brow:

looks like photoshop or maybe im blind

well, I don't know about the blind part, but it's in the latest issue of Road & Track, and I thought the same thing, but it just said "photo by..." not "photo illustration by..." and there's another picture of that same car in the article, just not next to the truck.

well the car is Gold colored so I would imagin it look like more mud there then there actualy is. but it does make a funny pic :)

The car looks silver to me. I don't think they make a gold sti.

here's a close up with some filter work.in some way it looks gold and if you look at the side mirrors and wing,it looks silver.

maybe it's a two-tone sti

Either PS or was following someone thorwin mud on em, might explain the wing, mud hit roof/windshield before wing. Happens alot in off road raceing.

looks like photoshop or maybe im blind

The angle on the STi doesn't suit the ground at all.. It looks photochoped to me.

EDIT: I mean the car isn't in that picture, but it sure did have that mud on it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. in the link posted before theres a video. In the video the guy says blah blah blah intercooled flat-six... hahaha.. its a 2.5L flat-four durr! That's what it says in the text!
