HAHAHA silly cousin, offroadings not for escorts! (*NEW PICS*)

Featured Replies

ok so this is my first post and im not sure if this is the right place I appologize if it isnt. anywho a couple days ago i went offroading for the first time in my 84 subie wagon and i gotta say, i have a new hobby. It was sooo flippin awsome. my brother (El toro) told me so much about how they were the best cars ever but im not quite sure if i believed him, well i gotta tell ya NOW I DO. My brother came over to my house to start up an off road trail. My cousin who has a ford escort (retard) helped too. after we finished i took my car and did a couple laps and climbed a couple hills with ease. Well i guess my cousin thought "if he can do it, why cant i" so like the genius he is he took his front wheel drive station wagon on the same strech i went on. A quarter of the way through he was stuck in the bushes:dead: . He had to get out and take "the walk of shame." And right when i thought the day couldnt get better my bro told me to tow him out. I was thinkin he was crazy but, dang, i highly underestimated these dream machines called subaru. Anywho to sum it up we towed his car out, and never again will I guess the limitless bounderies of a subaru. I am off crack and addicted to subaru! :headbang: NEW---- On the second page my brother(el toro) posted some pics from this adventure. one of me towing the escort and the other of my cousin taking the dreaded "walk of shame"

Congraduilations Welcome to the board, Subarus rock off road! :drunk:

I also never thought the subarus was that good of an off road toy until my neighbor asked if I wanted to go salmon fishing after my deployment. I said that I would take my 90 Loyale and carry all the gear if he took his ATV. In AK they have this place called Peters creek or something like that. Well this place is full of off roading nutbars. I took my bone stock roo up almost all the ATV trails without getting stuck at all. There's also some sand that was calling my name. piece of cake. The funny thing, is that I had my 4 kids in the car wile doing this and they all fell a sleep after about a 1/2 hr. That was the best day I had with the roo. My neighbor was in shock that I was following him through the trails. The only thing I wish I had was the 5sp d/r. That will be put in after winter from my 87 GL parts car. Live it Love it Learn it!!

ya, subarus are super cool, on and offroad.(mostly offroad :)) o ya, and welcome to the board!

thanx to the subie peeps they reign tall in the outdoor world yes brother welcome and keep on subiewheelin:burnout:

reading about your cousin reminded me.back to 1996 when me and a friend went out driving in my 85 mercury linx (ford escort).it was during the winter months an there was snow.well we went behind a local deptment store to do some reverse donuts.we ended up getting stuck in like foot an a half of snow.well to make a long story shorter,i had to call my dad who's girlfriend drove a legacy wagon.they came out at like 2am to pull us out.(one pull)

Welcome to the board, Subarus rock off road!

Haha, thas awesome, some people. well keep up with the good off-roading work, and yes these subarus are capable of more than they appear.

I know its kinda sad but I owned a 94 escort wagon just like that.Same color and everything.

here are the pics :D

he went all the way over, i stoped at top. so i wouldnt get stuck on the crest, he didnt, took what seemed like forever to get him unstuck. it is hard to see how steep that hill is untill you are hanging on to the steering wheel near the top, on a different note, the week before(and the reason i took that pic) a cj got that far and went end over end...no injurys ( at least untill i sent him a pic of my car in same spot but not with front wheels in air :brow: )

dude, thats awesome a subaru pulling a ford. cool pics yep they subarus are an awesome machine. i amaze alot of people when i go out wheeling with friends. welcome to the board and tell your cousin to stay out of the woods.

keep on wheeling:headbang:
