I was thinking about adding another set of rectangle fog lights to the car and want them on the bumper and was thinking the best spot would be where the inset turnsignals are now. But I have to have turn signals so....what about the corner lights...i mean...I dont realllly need daytime or parking lights so maybe be possible to splice in the turn signal wires inplace of the wires currently going to the corners. I know there are two lights in the corner so could I Y them off and have both of the corner light bulbs blink, and maybe find some amber bulbs? Ideas, suggestions?

I have been working on the same thing, and you need a power resister yo make it work or the lights come on but don't blink. The turn signal bulbs use much more current than the corner marker light.

Depends on the model - on my EA81 they work fine - just blink a little faster than normal cause the system thinks a bulb is out.

 

I just bought orange bulbs and called it good. EA81 land is nice like that.

on my EA82 i made the little orange reflector part of the running lights the turn signals untill i could find a new bumper and signals but the are still spliced into the bumper blinks with no ill effect

the old EA82 cars we got here all had the turn signals in the corner lamp like in skip´s wagon

I just want to Tell you that Both my Wagons got in the Corner Lights, a White Lamp (To the Front) and a Orange Lamp (To the Side) and both lights are just: "On or Off" no Blink action at All... My White Wagon is 1985 California Version, and the Yellow one got parts from many diferent year models, but got the same Lamps too.

 

I´ll Love to make ´em flash with the Turn Signals... But instead, I am thinkin´ the Idea to instal some kind of Light in the Door Mirrors to act as the extra turn signal Lights from a brand new Luxury car...

 

What do you Think About? did anyone try that before? Any Ideas?

couldn't you rig a three way socket / lamp into the side marker, and use a combo marker / turn signal amber lamp???
