Ballpark figure please what's an 82 Brat worth. Straight ,no rust,has air, t tops and third eye. 250k with 65k on engine.

Thats alot of miles...... but since its in good shape mechanically (new engine) I would say in the $1000 area.

Tom, I am not any farther away than you, and I flew down to Portland and drove back just have a decent Brat. If you want it, go get it.

my opinion its worth more than 1000, cant get jack for 1000 anymore. expecially a rust free brat. miles? who cares its got 65K on the motor. its good for a nother 250,000 but thats just my opinion

You can find rust free Brats for $1000 or less here in the west. Easy. Seen quite a few of them. Bought mine for less than a $1000 in fact.

 

Since it's an 82 - which is a special year. And rust free with a straight body. If it has the seats, prolly closer to $1500 would be my guess. If the paint is really nice, then maybe closer to $2000.

That's the impression I started to get when I was shopping for a 4WD ea81. I just ran a few more searches on http://www.cars.com, http://www.autotrader.com and http://www.nwclassifieds.com. They are much harder to find than I thought they would be. I'm glad I went ahead and bought Mudrat79's '83 wagon, but I can't stop shopping...if I find a really clean straight stock hatch I might have to buy it. I think I've got the bug...

Triple that on this part of the east coast.
