Back in an EA81.. and stylin the T-tops

Well this is now the eighth subaru that I have owned, and I am finally back into an ea81.. not just any ea81, an EA81T!!!

 

 

Here's when I first got it:

Work that I did to it:

2 MWE axles (new CV cups not reman)

Engine rebuild

ITM gaskets

New 3 angle valve job

Rings, Bearings, OP,WP etc...

All new hoses, every last friggin vacuum line, oil line, water line, pcv line

Had to do some "modifications" to some of the lines going to the turbo

because they were so rotted out.

 

New performance brand radiator

Removed leaky power steering for "strong arm steering"

New Tie rods

New ball joints

and here's sam helping me put it back in the beast... the funny part about this picture, that I didnt notice at the time, is that everything in this picture is 4wd. (thats one of sam's eagles on the left)

and all said and done, here it is back in the car, running like a champ, passed california smog with flying colors..

FYI if anyone is interested in hardware kits for that modification I did to the exhaust, let me know, cause rotordyne, who I work for, is thinking about selling those kits, cause we need them on the aircraft as well.. (the other option is using bolts with holes for safety wire.) let me know which idea you like better cause in the near future rotordyne will start distributing subaru components.

OK guys, so I talked with JS about it, and if I can produce them, then I can sell them..

 

Tell me if these would catch your interest.. If so, then I can make it happen....

 

Exhaust stud kit would include... new studs (with holes & threadlock coated), castellated nuts, cotter pins AND length of safety wire, needed exhaust gaskets, small pack of antisieze and 1 capped nut for installation of studs.

 

EA63/71/81/82 $22.95

EJ series $29.95

ER27 $29.95

I would be up for buying those kits for the exhaust studs for sure!Is that for one side or for both?Sounds great!I Would get one for an ej motor also since I saw you have those available.

 

Is this going to be a thread right in type of thing or will they need to be drilled/tapped out to a bigger size?Let us know when they become available.
