Love it. What method did you use to paint the interior pieces, especially the gauge cluster?

sand with emory pad or medium grit sand paper. clean with any degreaser or clenser. 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of enamel. took my time and did it all in about 3 days. i used rustoleum prefessional finish paint. it dries alot quicker and has a much tougher finish. the key is to just take your time. i dissasembled the entire dash first so it was easier then taping it off and the paint even covers what you dont see in the pics.

oh and i even patched that really nasty hole right under the clutch pedal....fiberglass is my friend!

hey, you might benefit some from adjusting your headlights and high beams a little bit away from center...

People have complained about the later GL headlights (loyale/ea82 style) but Ive got mine adjusted *just* right, and they work great.

The interior, well.. its not my thing, but it looks like you did a good job on it.

Prep work is everything, right?

it looks great!!!!!

But most important thing to me is (HIJACK)Were did you score on the rims?

Are there any other members that have these wheels?again, that wagon looks great:burnout: good job!!!!!!!!!!100_0219.jpg

Looks like you have issues with your fuel gauge also.

those wheels came on the XT turbo in europe, don't know about the states, they were optional 14" alloys

Looks Great!!! Loving the interior..cant wait to get up close and personal at Carlisle:grin: So when some old crazy fat lady just comes up and gets into your car and starts tallking to it and petting the dash..sont worry..its just me:lol: .

looks to me like the right side high beam is burned out - need to fix that!

nice job on painting the interior pieces, they look good - except now the tan bits look out of place/mismatched (steering wheel, shifter, etc)

I Love the Look of Your Subie! ... Red is Nice!, Good Job!!!

:headbang:

Thanks everyone! i got the wheels from another member who currently doesnt use the forum much his names PHATBRAT. they are subaru wheels they can be found on the wheel page (14in) he sold me the rims and that bumper. the decals on the bottom came on the car when i got it so im not sure if their stock or custom. also i cant really adjust my lights because the plastic clips that the screws thread into are stripped so their pretty much stuck like that. the interior will also be getting black carpet, new shift boot (black) i will paint the steering column and hopefully get a new steering wheel. i will also be painting the rest of the interior too and getting a similar cover made for the rear seat.... dont worry it will all match by the time i get it to carlisle.

Looking good! I'm glad the wheels got some use same with the roobar. I really hated to let them go, I had plans for all of that but oh well. (Did you move to Hainesport? I thought you were down by Haddonfield) Anyway, Good job on the interior, I did the same thing with my old BRAT but my guage cluster was brushed aluminum in color but the red looks the same. I need to sell this car, it looks very similar to the loyale in the picture a few threads up. Boz
