Went up to Stevens Pass with the wife in the impreza. Pulled a Ford out of the ditch in the parking lot.

Beautiful day. Put 2 hundred miles on the imp and my leg.

Feel great. Can't ait till next weekend's meeting.

i bet the guy in the ford felt like a jack. but i'm sure he appreciated it!

i ran pizza on fort wayne when it snowed all at once on new years 99. i pulled a taurus out of a driveway, a van off the side of the road, and a camaro out of an alley, after the chevy truck gave up.

the dude crapped when i rolled up ina little compact wagon. then he crapped again when i actually pulled him out. then he literally crapped himself when he saw the 50 foot streak of tranny fluid from my automatic. he ordered a pizza with a credit card and gave me a 30 dollar tip.

make it a point to have yout towstraps, guys!

its supposed to snow monday. i scored a 2wd axle with a bad boot for working on jim's soobs. all i need is a boot, and i will swap my doj to it and have some fun:santa:

What roads did you cruise? Looks kinda like the Beckler River Road just past Skykomish. I been thinking this would be a good time to try making it over Jack Pass. Looks like plenty of fluff, mmmm bet it was nice and dry.

hehe.. i've got a tow strap in the back of my subaru too. it's not for me, i don't think :P

Eric, i must have missed something. When did you get an impreza and what kind is it?

Edited 'cause I always want to spell your name with a K instead of a C. *slap*

Did you need to explain to the Ford driver,

It's OK, this is a SUBARU!

Looks like fun:D

A little. But after I had to skid it over a 3 foot high mound of snow to be able to get to him, his first words were, "That little Subaru gets around pretty good, huh?" he did appreciate it, he broke out beers and BTs. No really, he had one with him.

What roads did you cruise?

One was "Old Cascade Highway" which went parallel to highway 2 and joined back up with it after a few miles. The other was one that claimed to be blocked after a mile and a half. It was, and it was also the funnest of the two roads. The guy loading up his snow mobile was trippin a little on the imp driving thru snow 2 feet deep like it was nothing.

This is our second Winter with it, we got it a year and a half ago. 97 L 2.2. Won the open class of the Rally X last time I entered it.

Scenery is just beautiful!!!! Same with the ones from Ken last week. I get to look out my back window onto a snow covered corn field...

Photos are a little dark, but you get the point. Oregon foothills my rump roast.

I laughed so hard when you told me the story

Ken's talking about the part of the story I ommited. hehe, the part where I come home to a nice warm bath and play with my Stomper Water Demons in the tub. LOL

I was sporting my "Our World is Flat" sweat shirt, he couldn't miss it. Looked like he had a hard time grasping the image of my hatch as I tried to describe it.

He told the girl he was with, (who's truck it was btw) that they weren't gonna tell anybody. I told them I'd tell plenty of folks for them. :brow:

That is awesome Eric.

BTW Drop me an Email. I have something for you.

Mike

Very pretty, I love snow. I drove the Old Cascade highway with my mom and sister in the new legacy outback. Its a really fun road. there wasnt any snow though. My mom kept slowing down(from like 25 mph to 15) for the gravel and bumpy parts. I was like go faster it can take it, its a SUBARU! She let me drive for a while:banana: . wish my car had that much power
