December 9, 200322 yr http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=2446889552 I wonder if those are any good....CCR - Do you guys know anything about these?
December 9, 200322 yr It runs in my mind that there has beenseveral discussions about CCr on the site, and most of the statements were positive, although I can't cite and specifics. Keep it bumped until you get a definite answer. But for that price, I'd look at buying one out of a scrapyard and slapping it in. It would be about a quarter of the price, if that.
December 9, 200322 yr I think he was asking CCR for possible info on this builder $85 for shipping isn't bad.. Wonder what kind of quality of parts they use for rebuild
December 9, 200322 yr That's not a bad price, it is close to what CCR Inc. charges for a short block. But CCR Inc. uses new heads on it's long blocks instead of rebuilding old ones.
December 9, 200322 yr I would get specifics as to what they replace before committing to it. Does it get new rings, bearings, seals and gaskets? Ask alot of questions to make sure of what you are getting. And why is the turbo motor less than a single port motor?
December 9, 200322 yr i think they just sold a 1.6 for under 100 bucks(could be wrong on the price) real cheap. i like subaru motors with alot of miles, they work great.
December 9, 200322 yr Here is their web site, http://www.ccrengines.com/ And, yes they do sell just the short block.
December 10, 200322 yr Author Hey Pleadies, you could also contact WJM Rallye Sport for shortblocks as well...their buisness email is the same as my email address!
