Hi, noob here...

 

What the hell is WTLW? Tried a search, but all I can find is that it is in reference to something that has already been posted before. I've seen the phenomeon on other MBs before. For example on ADVrider.com it is, "sorry if this is 205, but..."

 

But you have to be "in" to know what 205 refers to there...

stupid internet acronyms. its so bad that highschool kits can't spell to save their life, and say worlds like "lol" in spoken conversation. so ridiculous. like an argument i heard that email is pointless, just send a text. and to back the argument the acronyms and abbreviations are easier to type on the phone.

HA... The spelling argument again.

I'm sorry but having a go at a spelling mistake that small in someones post just because they had a go at using acronyms that make no sense is just poor.

 

It is the internet. Not only that, the english language is changing into this. And just because english used to be a certain way when you were taught it doesn't mean its always been that way. It is for ever changing. This is just another change. Yes it is annoying, but if you don't like it go learn norwegian or something. If you don't understand or don't like it, don't read it. Not every piece of crappy off topic chat needs to be read.

I take offense to that... well actually it is the generation about 2 years behind me that seem to write in their essays with U and ttyl and other crap like that... and I hate texting... it takes forever, and yes I try T9 and it works for crap too!

T9 took a while for me to get used to, i just learned to look at the letters that im typing, not what comes up on the screen, untill i am done. Then i scroll through the words till i find what i want. I only had to teach the phone 10 words in the 14 months i have had it.

 

For a while i too hated T9.
