Soobies in Fort Worth?

Featured Replies

Texas alas i've heard is a baren soobieless area....but I'm goin on hopes and dreams,

I am in Oklahoma, and it is the same thing here, not a Soob in sight, other than mine.

Wait a minute, there are quite a few newer subes here and even some older ones....have a couple of the moderators here in the DFW as well Subaru3 and calebZ.....I see quite a few legacy/forsester/outbacks, many from the Teape dealerships. I have a gray faded Legacy from 91, and saw a red Loyale in good shape yesterday on way home from work.......keep eyes peeled, there here......

Oh I've seend them, and a true soobie always turns their head at another from what I've seen thus far..... I just wanna find some people to ride around with, maybe work on the soobs with together, it's tough in the streets haha! What part of DFW are ya in?

I once had an old Subie and when I was selling it folks would call me and ask what is a Subaru.

Luckly we are not bothered with "white misery" and rust here.

I have a 79 Brat for sale and an 86 Brat coming from Conroe on Tuesday.

I also have a truckload of Gen 1 parts.

I reside just 3 miles west of Loop 820 off I-30 West.

I recently moved to Austin. Seen quite a few newer soobs, but only 1 other gen 2. Was a wagon. My 85 brat is the only one I've seen so far. Can't even drive it though. Needs a new engine. Damn I can't wait to get it back on the road! So far not having any luck finding a USMB member here that's a mechanic.

Ft Worth/Euless here!

Nah....there are some people here!!

I have:

78 DL Wagon automatic

79 DL Wagon 5 speed

95 Impreza sedan LX AWD

95 Impreza Coupe 1.8 FWD GAS SAVER!

95 Legacy sedan LS AWD

91 Legacy sedan LSi FWD

79 Dodge Colt FWD twin stick

81 Plymouth Champ FWD LS twin stick

and enough parts to build 2 more !!

and many other GEN 1s/BRATs have passed through here!!

i live south. in midlothian/venus pretty much at the junction of 287 and 67. I have a 97 outback limited, wife has a 1996 LSi, and my roommate has a 1995 Postal wagon right hand drive. My friend taylor has a blue impreza wagon with jdm goodies, my friend jay lives in river oaks and has my old black wagon (avatar). I used to have my digital urban camo GL when I lived in haltom city, but sold it to my brother. He just got his license. We should REALLY have a get together someday. We could include LegacyGT, SL-i, and subaruforester.com. I am not "cool" enough for the impreza crowd, so nasioc is bottom of the list i guess. The more soobs the better but i have had sti owners think my GL was a toyota...

Sounds like fun.

I need to get the timing belts changed on my 86 Brat.

After 3 back surgeries, I will have to get someone to do it for me.

im pretty busy but maybe we can set something up. I am *still* in the middle of doing head gaskets on my outback. :horse::banghead:

I know how to do the work but myOLD back will not permit that,

i hear that. I can't bend for long. I know I am only 25 but I had a doctor almost paralyze me during an lumbar puncture and ever since then... anyways I have a heavy foam plumber's knee pad i use. ALOT. If I can ever get time I'm willing to help out.

Thanks

Dan
