see inner ring welded in then drilled to fit the older bolt pattern .

Can you do a set for a set of STi Brembos? I'm willing to pay extra for a set if you can.

the rings you sent me a while back are to big. i hope these ones are smaller. the ID is right but the OD is to large for legacy backing plates.

if they are i will call dibs on atleast one set if not two.

so then with this and a xt6 5 lug hub i could have normal rear brakes on a ea82?

nice

will these be available after the show?

After you weld it on, how what do you have to do to get the holes drilled.

I assume that these are only beneficial if you have 5 lug rears.

I will buy a set and pay for shipping. Will you be building these after the show or is it a one time affair?

like i said the ID was fine, the OD was close to 3/16" to large.

I'm still prototyping my zero weld version, but the design is more or less complete if anyone is interested I can post what I have so far. Until then this looks like a sure bet to get some ej stuff on the back of your ea car....

Kaz

Is that all you have so far?

i could be interested in this, i am trying to get impreza RS rear brakes on my brat. im sure that one of the local shops could do it for me, but it would be nice to already have whats needed before i take it to a shop.

 no...I have the complete design..

ea_to_ej_adaptor_plate_layout.JPG

but I am still fabricating the 1st prototype...

Basically it is cutting the above two layouts out of 6mm aluminium and using another template to drill the ea holes in the ej backing plate and there you have it. I have it mostly cut out of the aluminium ( right side done left side almost done) but I still have to drill the ej backing plates and remove the ABS sensor mounts..

I'll update in a new thread when I have it finished and test fit on my car... Then I'll post instructions and full design documents so the community can replicate what I have done..

sorry about that ill get you a new set in the smaller size no charge but it will have to be after the WCSS .

This is a very interesting thread.

I'm diggin it! too bad you cant just bolt in all the suspension goodies while we are at it..it would save a lot of time.

R.G. Loved the hatch that thing launched like none other.. BTW what did you do to the fenders? use a roller? Really made the whole car look like a new design.
