June 9, 201114 yr My stable: 79 DL sedan EA71 FWD 5spd (originally 4spd) milage about 300,000 km bought for 200$ 78 GF EA71 3spd auto trans (Webber on the way) milage unknown bought for 700$ 78 DL wagon EA71 3spd auto milage unknown bought for 150$ Also got 2 other gen 2 (81 and 84 sedans), a 91 legacy and a 99 GT forester. June 22, 201114 yr Pics of my BRAT I finally got the other day. Needs a tune up and cleaning out but other wise alright mechanically. Will be needing interior plastics at some point and WILL BE DITCHING the topper (want tall topper), A Bar and possibly bumpers (DEFINITELY want a winch bumper for front instead hint, hint). Will be looking for interior door handle plastic trim pieces and new drivers seat (back rest latch not working). PO got it as a driving (he called it parts:eek:) car for his 1980 1600GL Wagon (which I got too for a steal:grin:). Don't know why he did it because it was a great driver before he got it and started pulling stuff then realized nothing fit between the two:confused:.
June 23, 201114 yr looks like an '81 brat. Yeah, I got lucky. Best year for the Gen 1 even though I'd rather have an '80 due to YOB. Still cannot believe or figure why he started tearing it apart to fix his wagon. Oh well.

September 3, 201114 yr Yup. Slot mags look great on these old girls. Just keep looking man they come up on ebay and the likes from time to time. I would love these rims in 15 or 16 inch but I may have to wait a while to find them.
