I'm torn...

Featured Replies

I can't decided what to do.

Should I lift my 86 GL and wheel the piss out of it?

Or should I lower just a touch and put some nice tires, etc on it and rally the piss out of it?

I've got a LOT of logging/fire roads aroundabouts here so both options are doable...

what do you guyys think?

If your gonna do rally make a decent cage for it since your gonna be going faster. I like rally more:)

Rally it! :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Your Subaru will love you!:brow:

Both options are Nice, but you must choose the one that Really will make you Happy...

so: What do you Like more to Do? ... What do you Enjoy more from Drivin`?

Also consider which one your better at, you go and put a bunch of money into your car just to wreck it you'll be p'ed off. Good luck either way.

I look at it this way:

Rally= car ends in quick death when you roll it or put it into the woods.

Offroad= car dies slow death of a thousand cuts untill you are so sick of patching together whats left of the body that you finally retire it.

You can rally the piss out of an offroad car. My lifted wagon used to put plenty of cars to shame on the backroads. All depends on the driver and the level of remaining sanity.

You can't offroad the piss out of a rally car...

LOL Sanity?

Lift it!!! And don't beat the piss out of it, wheel it and keep in mind you want it to last a while. As long as you take your time when on the trails, you can make it last.

I say drive it as it is. Take care of it, save your money and show us you can be a big boy. :)

Where is the fun in that??

Lift it, and then rally it! No reason you can't do both.

I've come up with a better solution!

I'll buy the RX that I recently discovered hiding in the neighbors yard!

That will take care of my rally fixation and my desire to do an EJ22 swap and something to stuff legacy suspension under.

And THEN I can lift and wheel the piss out of my wagon!
