I like that you are wheeling a wrx! What size allterrains are those?

Props on cutting your bumpers!

215/75/15 (27.8'' o.d.)

Thanks for the props, I cut the entire back of the car out all the way to the rear subframe. The front is pretty chopped as well

So what details can you give us about the suspension?

Really nice and I love the welds!:slobber:

Front:

06 sedan front struts on 06 wagon springs, custom lower control arms

Rear:

05 STI rear struts on 06 wagon springs

Plus my 1'' lift kit

OMG I LOVE IT:slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber::slobber:

Wow man you have entered a whole new relm of wheeling. Sports cars offroad?!?!?! Thats some pretty impressive flex and wheelin with a freakin WRX! Props to you man. You are probably the first to take an 06 wrx and make it into a wheeler while still keeping the integrity and looks of the car. Yes a build thread would make us all very jealous and drool. hahaha

hey BTW where did you put the fuel tank/cell?

Its the stock tank in the stock location.

I love it!

and I second the need for a build thread with lots of pics!!

that's a nice rig... looks like a good time... take a trail buddy with you so you can try more daring roads... no fun getting stuck without somebody to pull you out...

this is great!

Props to guy who isn't afraid to tear into his $30,000 rig....It is yours, right?

Impressive build, bring it up to WCSS 11.

Thanks guys, comments are great!

Yes it is my car, and it is way cheaper to do this than to actually race.

Saw it on NASIOC. Love it. Good to see pics of it in action.

Props dude, p-r-o-p-s!

Not enough cool stuff to say for cutting into and beefing up the WRX! I like the suspension flex, sweet tires! Sick work on the cross-bracing and front undercarriage armor!

+1 interested guy for the build thread and photo history of your rig! (oops, here it is [http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97168] ;)

Welcome to your new home in the off road forum of USMB!
