Anyone ever cut a GL wagon in half, close it in, and weld a receiver hitch to it?

If so pics! I'm going to start doing that tomorrow.

Or if anyone has something close to it your welcome to post pics too.

I am going to do this on my parts Brat, cut in half, and make the rear a trailer for my good BRAT.

Good idea!

Didn't someone do this to an EA81 wagon? I seem to recall having one at a WCSS a couple years back.

SuperBrat has a lime green Brat and TRailer.....

that link is broken

I have actual photos of it at home... hard copy.

I can't seem to see them either.

I have frequently thought about cutting the tails out of two GL wagons just ahead of the wheel wells. Butt the open ends together and put a hitch on it. Then you'd have an enclosed trailer with access at both ends.

I have considered cutting my Parts lego off at the firewall and making it into

a bean style trailer with 4 doors and hatch.

But Idk if it'd be worth it.

something with a wagon hatch in front and in back could make a pretty neat tent trailer...

having two hatches would be a neat idea.. but rocks flying up could be an issue.. seeing how its a big sheet of glass and isnt rated for flying objects.

the rear glass is the same temper as the front glass, and it gets flying objects all the time.......just a thought

just use a window shutter like most small trailers have to protect the front window

I like the dual ended hatch idea, that'd be cool
