The wagon gets a facelift

It's just a brushguard like Dave's, and the white bar generally goes behind the bumper for added protection. In my case, the only protection.

Someone welded expanded metal in at some point, i like the way it looks.

NVZeno stumbled across the brush guard and tipped me off.

I think he'll be impressed, with how godawful it looked before.

Yeah i recognized it as a stock guard, but in addition to the wire mesh, those two bars on each headlight hoop are added as well. Did you score it from the junkyard??

I have the same bar minus the screen. I didn't know anyone else actually had the reinforcement bar that spreads from the bumper brackets...I have that, its hidden behind my bumper, makes the thing as solid as a rock. could probably yank a house down with it.

Usually when the bars are sold, they don't come with that back bar. cool cool

looks nice.

Wow..that brushguard looked pretty sorry when I saw it at the yard. Great job on making it look so good!

You know, i didn't even notice that. You're right. Wierd.

Yep, came off a DL wagon @ the Carson yard

That looks great! I have an OEM "A" style bar that I need to clean up and put on the car.

You should goto Autozone and pick up a can of the Rustoleum spray on bedliner. And do a light/even coat on that thing. It will match the rack (hell, re-do the rack too cause that job I did is like 6 years old).

looks neat but will the vertical parts in front of the headlights cause blind spots in your field of vision at night?? :-\

Yea, it kinda does, but I use the high beams exclusively, unless there's oncoming vehicles.

I could see it as potentially being a problem in populated areas, but i'm pretty much in the sticks.

just one more reason to get some aux. lights to mount on there.

I have the ones on the rack wired up finally.

They're useless. Bright as ************, but too much glare off the windshield.

it has a certain MAD MAX appeal, I dig it - definitely makes it look like you mean serious business

Looks awesome!! Will definitely keep the sticks out, and protect them headlights.
