  1. This car has paid off now a few times. Its hauled a bunch of wood and it became a plow this morning and plowed throgh a foot of snow

    It lives! I took it for a ride and definetely noticed a change in behavior! There is still some old fuel in it so I think the minor sputtering will be there until it burns it all. It fired up right away! No whinig of the pump. All other systems are ok (except the steering rack's leaks) maybe another time.. I took a pic quickly during the test drive. And I also made an appointment for the periodical inspection. I'll work on fine tuning and painting the rear quarter panel. I'll post the updates!
  3. what i did with my old webber setup was cut a peice of sheet metal into the oval shape the factory air cleaner has and welded on a couple bolts where the top screws on, gave it a nice stock ish look and i kept the oem filter

  5. AC condenser tubes can be too small to accommodate trans fluid. Bad idea. Older R12 units may work, but newer stuff has such tiny passages that it would never work for ATF. GD
  6. also, ive undid all the "mods" you said were dumb, if you didnt notice, its reverted to 100% stock as im diagnosing it
