would the axle above the exhaust be the first go usually go out-due to the heat etc, and the open front diff which axle receives most torque?

Ok I could have spoke/poked too soon. So, you have to wait how long to warm up them before they can be useful? -That doesn't seem very beneficial. Why not spend the dough and get some EDM from germany glass lensed units? - that is the best way to get good light upgrade.

I think it is time for Subaru to do another world record land speed endurance test again. a comment on ytube is relevant " The father represents the older, traditional Subarus and longtime enthusiasts. The son represents the new generation of Subarus and younger fans. Although the father originally disapproved of the son's action(s) (and maybe even car)... he realized that his son was good after all (and so was the BRZ), the same way some traditionalist Subaru fans realize how great the combination of the Subaru BOXER Engine and RWD are. Use 1/2" drive socket on a breaker bar, and sometimes add a cheater pipe on the end of the bar for extra leverage impacting is not always the right choice

Based on looking at your hood now, the front Driver frame rail is bent upward at least 7 inches. That is frame that is not going to be very easy to straiten. It will require a frame machine, not simply a tree and straps. The nose is twisted, I can see it in the pics. If the hood fit down to the passenger light, then the left side is about 7 inches or so too high for the hood to sit closed. Not going to be easy or cheap to fix that. When you slammed the wheel and tire into the ditch, it was enough to snap and bend that, but also your speed was enough to continue into the frame as well. You hit hard to do that. If you look hard enough, i bet you see evidence of some buckling on the top of the roof middle above the seat belt anchors too.

Good thing i was home when i did that. I was unloading my beer. I think i am down to only one spare left now. I guess I should go get another spare made up tomorrow. Maybe hide a extra key, good thing i didn't break the key off earlier when i was in Des Moines running errands. That would have meant 60 miles from the spare key. good thread eh.

that sucks. reminder, if you park your car long term, pull the fuse for ignition, and also pull off the coil wire. they can still haul your car off, but they aren't going to drive it off.- Forester tophat removal?
place short 1/2 drive socket over the nut. Then insert allen key thru the socket top, into the strut piston shaft. keyway. Then hold the allen key tightly. Use large vice grip locked onto the socket. Using the vice grips, loosen the nut while holding the allen wrench. You need to have the spring compresses before doing any of the steps.- Replacement radiator doesn't fit?? ('94 Legacy)

No the GT is a taller radiator, same as the turbo breeds which are taller. except the turbo has no fill opening it has coolant tank. GT need s fill cap on the rad due to not turbo. And then the problem that subaru dealers even online do not acknowledge gt models. your best bet is to go take a ball bat to you dealer and tell them they need to carry your radiator; which they dont' - oops second best is to make some welded tabs to hold the NA short radiator. third best is to put a front clip on your car for NA fourth best to sell it.- Replacement radiator doesn't fit?? ('94 Legacy)

You do know the LGT has the same front bumper, radiator support as the turbo models? You know the turbo models do not have radiator fill cap, they use a separate coolant tank guess you are out of luck. sell it like i did mine. you cannot even convince the subaru dealers that they did make a 94 gt model. your only option is too swap out your radiator support for a non turbo, N/A style, upper and lower. LOL sorry that is the only way you can order one to fit it. or else you mod the mount system to make your short radiator work. that is what i would be doing. You will not order one to fit.- how to clean this...
remove the alternator before proceeding is the must. then careful at the sensors. I wouldn't ever power wash a engine if i owned the car. EVER> \EVER EVER EVER EVER. it kills too many sensors, especially on the new gen stuff. you will be okay if you take out the alternator first i guess. Do you even realize your battery is not hooked up to the post connectors in the top pic? Do you know that buying a battery bolt down tie down kit is more beneficial than having a cleaner looking engine? Do you know that when you hit bumps the battery can short out and cause a under hood fire when not bolted down? Youyr battery is explosive as is. it has acid in it. ok, then you dont have it strapped down. HELLO then it has positive and negative terminal that when you hit bump the positive could hit the hood and short out everything leaving you stranded in a fire ball. YOU are an idiot for not having it strapped down. please correct this, and be done. enuf.- EJ22 replace oil pan and leaky for twice times!?
