  1. This tutorial is for an 04 STi, I wouldn't think there would be that much difference in the basic engineering design side of the bushings. http://turninconcepts.com/instructions/subaru/rear_diff_mount_bushings/index.html I would give Turnin Concepts an email and see what they can do for you. http://turninconcepts.com/
  2. The regular outback is based off the Legacy so most things won't apply to your OBS. Look for Impreza wagons, those should work 100%. Unsure about whether the sedan or coupe could work as well though.
  3. I am not going to bash the car like every other forum. Just saying that I plan to stick to this: and this: For a very long time.
  4. I must be misunderstanding. The EA81 was on the right side of the engine, as facing it from the front. EJ engine: FB: All are pretty much the same location.
  5. Jordan, refer back to the picture on the first page. The water pump is at the bottom right of the motor, where it has been for a long time. I think it wouldn't be bad at all to change. I would think you wouldn't have to remove the radiator.
  6. Car and Driver gave a review of the new FB engine. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car/11q1/examining_subaru_s_new_fb-series_flat-four-car_news
  7. The brighton is the bare minimum of the Impreza line. Crank windows, etc.
  8. The ignitor is integrated with the coil pack. The coil pack is the black box, bolted to the top of the intake manifold, dead center of your engine bay, with 4 spark plug wires going to it. And a diagram: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/2196/va127515.jpg
  9. Definitely inspect under the hood thoroughly before purchase. Who knows what stupid things they could have done under there.
  10. For crying out loud. Don't rice out a Loyale. If the car isn't beautiful, don't make it tacky and stupid.
  11. Hoping to cure a 2nd gear catch. Currently it has royal purple but it didn't seem to help things. Hopefully if it has dried out some, sometime this afternoon, I will be changing the gear oil this evening.
  12. Tom, he is already running the o2 spacer. If I wasn't such a cheapskate, I would throw one of those UEL headers on my 95 Outback.
  13. This is battlewagon's Outback. I'd love to put one of those headers on mine.
  14. I highly doubt one from an outback will work. You will need to find the backing plate off of an RS or OBS. May throw you a WTB ad up here: http://www.rs25.com/forums/f185-wtb-wanted-buy
  15. The subaru alarm: http://s784.photobucket.com/albums/yy129/djfunk/99%20OBS/Keyless/Security/
