  1. Definitely not original, not that it matters. Looks fairly new though. Those things tend to go bad, had one go bad on a 91 that I had.
  2. Link to more pictures of that awesome brat?
  3. I got the felpro gaskets on my Outback. Got them from Advance and used a coupon code from here: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/advanceautoparts.com
  4. One clean engine bay on that Honda. I actually ran for almost 2 years without the backing plate on the hood scoop.
  5. I wished my RS coupe had came with framed windows. Such a big piece of glass to rattle around going down the highway at 75 mph.
  6. This tutorial is for an 04 STi, I wouldn't think there would be that much difference in the basic engineering design side of the bushings. http://turninconcepts.com/instructions/subaru/rear_diff_mount_bushings/index.html I would give Turnin Concepts an email and see what they can do for you. http://turninconcepts.com/
  7. The regular outback is based off the Legacy so most things won't apply to your OBS. Look for Impreza wagons, those should work 100%. Unsure about whether the sedan or coupe could work as well though.
  8. I am not going to bash the car like every other forum. Just saying that I plan to stick to this: and this: For a very long time.
  9. I must be misunderstanding. The EA81 was on the right side of the engine, as facing it from the front. EJ engine: FB: All are pretty much the same location.
  10. Jordan, refer back to the picture on the first page. The water pump is at the bottom right of the motor, where it has been for a long time. I think it wouldn't be bad at all to change. I would think you wouldn't have to remove the radiator.
  11. Car and Driver gave a review of the new FB engine. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car/11q1/examining_subaru_s_new_fb-series_flat-four-car_news
  12. The brighton is the bare minimum of the Impreza line. Crank windows, etc.
  13. The ignitor is integrated with the coil pack. The coil pack is the black box, bolted to the top of the intake manifold, dead center of your engine bay, with 4 spark plug wires going to it. And a diagram: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/2196/va127515.jpg
  14. Definitely inspect under the hood thoroughly before purchase. Who knows what stupid things they could have done under there.
