  1. Doesn't look bad. Beats the standard EA81 side bolster blowout.
  2. I love looking at the rear of the car. I keep expecting it to be like the opening of a rally stage when the Impreza launches and throws dirt and gravel out the back.
  3. Thanks man. As promised: Added Rally Armor UR mud flaps today:
  4. Figured I would start using this thread as my running Impreza blog. Got these in the mail today:
  5. Too bad they riced out the interior. That faux hood scoop is just about awful. Looks like someone really wanted a tricked out BRAT.
  6. I want to see a video. Little warning. A lot of people have had issues with Borla headers cracking. Hope you don't have the same luck.
  7. Earl Duff Subaru, the best Subaru dealer in state will be having a Subaru meet and car show on May 1st, 8:30am-4:00pm EST. On display will be Travis Pastrana's STi. All Subarus are invited and lunch will also be provided. 8. What I followed when I split my EJ25. http://www.rs25.com/forums/f105/t74366-tearing-down-ejxx-block-pictures-head-removal-splitting-block.html
  9. I was surprised when I bought bearings for my brat a few years ago. At the time I was working as a lead in an INA/Schaeffler Group warehouse. The 6207 bearing was a real popular bearing that we shipped to quite a few major companies. I remember Harley-Davidson ordering them by the thousands every week.
  10. Rob, I have had that picture saved on my computer for years. It is by far one of my favorite EA81 pictures.
  11. Oh wow, look at the clear coat reflection.
  12. No the EA81's thermostat is on the top of the engine. Follow the upper radiator hose to where it meets the manifold. It has two bolts and inside the cover is the thermostat. Remember, the Subaru gasket does not require any additional goo such as RTV material, just throw it on as is.
  13. Make sure and get the thermostat gasket too from the dealer.
  14. Remember that your best bet for a clutch cable is not with a parts store but with your Subaru parts counter.
  15. If going with a RS or WRX rear brake setup, go ahead and get the H6 rear brakes as they are the popular choice. http://www.rs25.com/forums/f105/t64473-diy-h6-rear-rotors-brackets.html
  16. Yeah, I got that. Wasn't sure if one could be used from an earlier 4WD wagon or not.
