Aim Headlights - 95 Legacy Outback
I found where the headlight aiming level bubble is. What do I turn to adjust the headlights up and down and left and right? If anyone has a picture that would be awesome.

Just finished the HVAC bulb repair. What a pain in the a**. Found out why the brakes sucked on this thing: Also buffed some grime off the headlights, hard to tell really in the pictures but you can get the point. Before: After:

There is a button snap in the back for the carpet to snap to. It is in the same area as the latch for the rear hatch. Mine was unsnapped and was causing my carpet to slide around like you described. I am in for a break right now. Just got doing brakes all around. I will post a picture later of a certain brake pad, it was gone. After breakfast I am going to head back out to do an oil change and pull the HVAC controls to do the bulbs in behind there. I will following this DIY: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/change-heater-control-lights-95-99-legacy-26408.html?t=26408&highlight=HVAC+bulbs Little tidbit: the bulbs that are used for the Legacy HVAC backlight are the same ones that are used in my RS for the fog light indicator, rear defroster, and the hazard button. Can be purchased at Radio Shack for a $1.50 a pack. #7219 12 volt micro-bulbs.

Catching 2nd Gear
Durania replied to Durania's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo, just change the gear oil pretty much? I don't really want to do the Scotty's Cocktail as I have read a couple places where people have done it and the car started to whine.

Thread title makes me smile.- SVX idle issue
Durania replied to NWSubie's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSounds like a MAF sensor on the way out or a dirty idle air control valve.- My 6th Subaru - 95 Outback

I noticed this on my outback that after driving for about 30 minutes. Not all the time but sometimes when shifting into 2nd the gear will catch and grind slightly. I spoke to my Subaru mechanic and he told that they have some luck using the Lucas tranny stuff to keep some gears from grinding. Anyone have any other experiences? I have never had to drain a manual tranny before, do I just drain out the equal amount of fluid going in then add it back to it? Do I need to drive it easy or normal after adding the fluid? Thanks, Kyle- looking at buying a legacy

A friend of Battlewagon took that at our last Subaru meet. I was amazed. Added a WRX 6 disc changer tonight, friend had one sitting on his shelf at home. Said I could have it to get it out of the way. This was a plug and play mod. Here are the pictures from out last Subaru meet. Unless it's a swapped RS, I doubt it. I never had the love for the RS that I had for my EA81 Hatch and 83 BRAT.- My 6th Subaru - 95 Outback
When you order, Kyle delivers. I actually want it to be an '06 so it gets the aluminum STi control arms. Yes, it must be world rally blue on gold. Want it to be as close to stock as possible. They are out there, I know. I have already got my first few mods/fixes in order for the Outback. Going to get a WRX 6 disc that a friend is giving me, for free. Going to get pads all around, oil change this weekend. CV axle (torn inner boot) should be installed next week, the boot tore a few days before I bought it. Also going to affix my new Subaru owner badge when it comes in. Also going to replace the blown bulbs in the climate control. Tom - the RS has served it's purpose fully. It has been my 110 mile/day driver since 2008. I have added my own touches to it to make the drive a little more bearable. Her latest pic:- My 6th Subaru - 95 Outback
House is definitely not paid for. I own a home but that also means that Chase Financial owns my home. We manage our money very well and don't buy anything we don't really need, there are some exceptions to what I want. I fell into a good job a few years ago as assistant IT director for the local municipal government, she is an accountant. The RS will be sold in a few months. I am about to graduate Tennessee Tech University with a BS in Business Administration/MIS in August and the wife gave me two options: 1. Two week trip to Japan. 2. I told her that this thing would be easier to learn on than my RS, RS clutch is say "goofy". No plans for any big mods yet, just gonna put the miles on her and do work. Will be my daily driver when I get the STi in a few months.- My 6th Subaru - 95 Outback
It was a $2000 personal loan. I had the cash already and my bank saw that. Plus, we own our home and have excellent credit. Also have a paid off RS and 2004 Accord and ZERO credit card debt, just mine and her's student loans.- My 6th Subaru - 95 Outback
I wish I still had my stock RS wheels laying around. :-\ This thing has brand new all season Goodyears on it. - "Cut the blue wire!" "They're both blue wires!"
