  1. Towing all 4 on the ground is bad, very bad. You can only tow like a few miles uner something like 40mph
  2. That awesome, absolutely great . Where upstate r u?
  3. My actuall locks work great. Its my driver side door lock barrell, locking it from the outside can be a hassle sometimes. I usually have to wiggle the key around a lil bit to get it to do what I want. A keyless entry would solve all the hassle and the cold/rainy weather.
  4. Yes it does. Thanks. I already have the cold weather pckg. but its a '96, so no heated ws, but it was replaced in Nov., so I am not going to bother. I definately want that part # for the keyless. My drivers door lock is starting to act up. I got a little ambtious with it being the first outback I have ever seen out there, wich makes that, the second 95+ subaru I have ever seen there.
  5. So I picked up a keyless control box from an outback at the jyard. I was so suprised they even had a outback there....its the first one I ever saw there. It has a cold weather package, so I want to grap the controls for the heated windshield. Is this even possibile?? The keyless control box was just laying there with a white wire coming out of it. i am guessing the wire is for the program button. Now, when I opened my lower dash up I couldn't find any wires/plugs that could plug into the box
  6. Try turning your recirculator button on when this happens. It is not going to be a fix, but it might help.
  7. I think subaru has coolant cooling the turbo down. not 100% on this though.
  8. I would've been happy I didn't end up in that pond
  9. Yea I tried this, but the pipe gets really soft when it gets that hot. Its tough and, I was kinda impatient knowing that there was a way easier way to do it in a bag, on the ground, next to me. I just stuck it in the air box....I am going to seal it once i have it completed. I used a drill, drillign a bunch of holes in a circle. My suggestion, buy a good hole saw. I did this but I didn't have a good drill to complement it.
  10. Dunno how that happened...mods can delete the 2 post that aren't complete and this one.....
  11. Well that pipe went to the disposal. I am sticking with the setup with the elbows. That took about an hour to bend like that with a heat gun in the blazing sun. That was a "just use elbows picture." The sand was supposed to prevent kinks

  15. I was planning on using just one pipe and bending it for all the bends.....well here is a pic of the piipe just trying to get the pipe at 90deg. Yea the entire 7' pipe was filled with sand.
  16. daytime pics: Rum n coke and a nice clay bar and wax
  17. the rubber hose wont work unless I make the hole bigger (which I am not doing). It does look good though, and kodos for a great suggestion. I'll post pics in a little bit of the snorkel completed but not painted. I still have to get a Donaldson Top Spin pre-cleaner that is going to go on the top. I am thinking of getting some skateboard grip tape and taping off a border around the hole. See the thing is I am a very bad painter, and w/o a garage I am going to have overspray everywhere. I have tried to paint other cars in the past and it has tought me a valuable lesson: DONT PAINT
